"Rosier get's the quaffle, passes to Lestrange, aaaand, Sirius Black kicks away, defending the hoop! No score for Slytherin!"

"Go, Sirius!" Sandy cheered from the stands, clapping as she jumped up and down besides Remus. It was as if, by some miracle, Sirius had heard all the way from the hoops, and shot her a bashful smile, with an awkward wave. "They're going to win at this rate, Rem!"

The werewolf chuckled, too cheering for his friends and team. "What, were you doubting them? They're very far ahead, and Slytherin is playing disastrously today." The game currently was at 250-110.

"Yeah. What's up with that? Last time the points were more even?" She questioned loudly over the cheers, referring the match between Slytherin and Hufflepuff, which had taken place earlier in the year. In that case, both teams had scored pretty high, but, alas, the green and silver house had won by 20 points then.

"Aaand Gryffindor scores again! That's 260-110! Take that, snakes! You suck!" The commentator, Amos Diggory called out, only to get scolded by his professors. "Sorry, McGonnagal."

Remus shrugged at the oddity. "I heard the team captain, Rabastan Lestrange, went harder on them since the Hufflepuff match. Practicing more and more, until they dropped. Maybe he over did it?"

"Another 10 points for Gryffindor! Well done, Potter! That's 270-110 people! It's embarrassing, really!" Some shuffling was heard from the speakers, and if anyone turned to look at the professor's stands, they'd notice Amos had temporarily lost his privileges to use the microphone, as it was now professor Slughorn whom had taken a turn in scolding him. That was until Amos ripped the microphone from the potion professor's hands and announced something else quickly. "Another point got passed Mulciber! That's 280-110!"

"Regulus has been complaining about Lestrange for a while." She noted out loud, thinking of her 'younger' friend. She had been invited by Barty and Pandora to go to cheer for Regulus alongside them, however, she had declined after pointing out all of her friends whom happened to be playing that day. Between that and the fact that Gryffindor was one of the two playing teams, the duo understood. Sandy had also had a hard time getting anywhere closer to Pandora during that conversation, as the girl was wearing a hand-stitch, homemade helmet that resembled a snake head. While she had no fear over the animal, she simply just couldn't help but see Luna instead. She was proud of Barty though, making sure to vocalise it, as usually he would have locked himself up in his room or the library to study, instead of attending a Quidditch game. He was learning how to have fun, and not fear being a disappointment to his father every second. "Actually, they were talking about getting the whole team together to get his title as captain removed. Do you reckon that's why this is happening?"

He shook his head, quickly dismissing the idea of her insinuation. "Them boycotting their own game, one against Gryffindor, to get a captain change? No, I doubt it. They simply must be overworked. Slytherins are far too competitive and proud to make such a move. In the end, they still stick together when going up against their common enemy."

"And, Rosier scores! The points have risen to 280-120 now! Not a big difference, but it's the effort that counts, huh?"

A roll of his eyes followed, not too fond of Amos Diggory becoming commentator that year. Granted, Rita Skeeter being the commentator the two prior years up until she graduated had not been so great. It was a nice change to have the commentator root for Gryffindor, instead of publicly announcing made-up rumours on the players on either team. "Amos is a pretentious prick, don't you think?" At that moment, he couldn't help but dejected for chickening out on requesting to become the commentator at the start of the year. In fact, when time came for the announcement on who would become the new commentator, he lied to his friends, claiming to have sent out his application to McGonnagal and Pooch, and that he had simply not been chosen. Truthfully, that very same application was under his mattress at the Lupin residence.
