Lilith's pov
It was finally saturday. We were all getting ready. Kadence wore a cute sundress. I had on black pants and a red button up shirt. Kadence was sitting at her vanity doing her hair. She was pining up half of her hair. I walk over to her and wrap my arms around her. I place a kiss on her cheek. Kadence looked at me in the mirror. A smile was on her face. 
"I love you Kadence Heart," I say before kissing her neck. I can hear her heart beating faster causing me to chuckle. 
"Me? You love me?" she asked. I turned her so she was facing me. I cup her face and peck her lips. 
"Yes you," I laugh. 
"That feels amazing to hear from you," Kadence mumbled, her cheeks turning red. 
"Good," I kissed her lips again.
"Wow," Kadence says. I smile down at her. Kadence looks at me with a bright smile causing my heart to flutter. "I love you," Kadence says. I peck her lips again. My stomach felt fuzzy hearing her say it back.
"Are you ready to go?" I asked. Kadence nods her head.

The guards let us into the castle. Lily was looking around as we walked to the castle. As I passed the vampires they all bowed towards me before walking behind me.
"I thought you said you weren't a princess anymore?" Lily asked. I look at her. 
"Even though I no longer have responsibilities I will always be their princess. Royalty is in my blood," I mutter. We get to the castle and we are led to the second row. Lily and Kadence sit down. "I'll be back," I say. Kadence nods her head. I turned around and walked away. Cadell was right by my side. 
"Princess Lilith, who is the one next to your beloved?" he asked. I look at him with a raised eyebrow before looking back at Lily. Lily and Kadence were both looking at me. 
"Why?" I asked Cadell. He looked at me.
"She's my beloved," he states, causing me to freeze. My eyes go back to Lily. Her and Kadence's watched me curiously.
"Really?" Cadell nods his head. "Do you want her?" I asked. Cadell glared at me. 
"Why wouldn't I?" he snapped. "I apologize princess," he says before bowing. 
"It's just that she previously had a werewolf mate; he got to know her for a few months before rejecting her. I need to know if you are going to reject her or not. I can't let her get hurt a second time," I say. Cadell nods.
"I wouldn't reject her. I've been waiting a long time to find my beloved. I'm not passing up this opportunity," Cadell says. I nod my head. 
"Alright. I'll talk with her but you'll probably have to take this slow. I'll motion you over if she wants to speak with you," I say. Cadell nods before going back to his previous position. I walk back over to my beloved and her mom. I lean against the back of the bench in front of me. I stood in front of Lily. 
"What did he want?" Kadence asked. I look at her before shifting my eyes to Lily. How do I say this?
"I need you to keep an open mind," I say to Lily. she slowly nods. "This isn't going to be a repeat of last time. Cadell is a nice guy and deserves a chance. He isn't like your ex mate. Cadell has been waiting for his beloved for a long time. You are a once in a lifetime person to meet especially for vampires. Most of the time we don't get the chance to meet our beloved. Is it ok if he comes over and meets you?" I say. Lily's eyebrows furrowed. Kadence nudged her mom. Lily looked at her daughter. Kadence nods her head smiling at her mom. 
"You can't pass this up mom. Being with Lilith is the most amazing feeling in the world. It's like nothing I've ever felt before you can't pass this up over a stupid werewolf who didn't see how special you are," Kadence says. Lily takes a shaky breath before nodding. 
"He is willing to take things slow for you if you want," I say before looking at Cadell and motioning him over. "Cadell this is Lily. Lily, this is Cadell. He is the head guard. So not only is he a nice guy but a very good bodyguard," I joke. Lily smiles before chuckling. 
"Right well I'm still going to go see my cousins. Kadence, care to join me," I asked. Kadence stood up. Cadell patted her arm as a thank you. Kadence smiles at him. 
"Treat her well," Kadence mumbled under her breath so her mom couldn't hear. Cadell gave her a sharp nod. Kadence and I walk away. I got to my cousin's room where they were getting ready. 
My Aunt Ivy was helping her sons look presentable. They were all so caught up in what they were doing that they didn't notice us.
"Wow, you both haven't looked sharper," I mumble. The guys glare at me. Aunt Ivy stared at me with wide eyes. 
"You're free!" Aunt Ivy finally shouted. I chuckle before walking over to her. 
"Yes I am," I say. We hug each other tightly. Ivy kissed my forehead. 
"I wish I could have taken you with us," Ivy says. I pat her back before letting her go.
"Me too but I'm glad I couldn't go. I wouldn't have been able to find my Beloved if I left here," I say, before spinning Kadence around in front of her. Kadence giggled. I steadied her in front of my aunt. 
"You're beautiful," aunt Ivy says. Kadence smiles.
"Thank you. You are less intimidating than your sister," Kadence says. Ivy laughs before wrapping her arms around Kadence. 
"That's good. Welcome to the family," Ivy says before letting her go. 
"So are you guys excited?" I asked. The twins nod. 
"Yes, It not everyday you get to become a king," Talon says. 
"That's for sure," I laugh. My body tensed when my mom walked in. Kadence leaned into me causing me to wrap and arm around her. 
"Five minutes boys," she says. I look at her before walking out of the room with Kadence. When we got back to Lily she was alone. I raise an eyebrow at her. 
"I think it was your mother but she yelled at Cadell to leave," Lily says. I let go of Kadence with a glare. I walked past Cadell who shook his head. 
"You are a complete ass!" I shout walking back into the room my mom was in. She looked at me with a raised eyebrow. "Cadell has finally found his beloved and you can't let him spend a little time with her. This place will be fine without the head guard for a moment. If there was going to be an attack it would have happened way before you decided to step down. Why try to kill a bad leader when they decide to step down. Trust me you're going to be fine. Nobody is going to attack when we are getting new leaders," I state. My cousin's eyes widened. Ivy's mouth dropped open. 
"Yell at Cadell like that again and I'll make sure I'm the one to kill you," I sneer standing face to face with her. Brezin shifts, she brings her hand up and grabs our mothers jaw tightly. "And don't think I won't, having my mother's tongue in my collection is something I've been dying to get. With you dead I get what I've been dreaming of," Brezin laughs demonically. I walk from the room. Brezin was still pissed, causing her to stay shifted. Everyone froze when they saw me before bowing. I walk over to Cadell and drag him with me. I push him to sit next to Lily. 
"Kadence," Brezin says. She stands up and wraps her arms around us. Our body tingled as I hugged her tighter. I inhale her scent causing Brezin and I to relax. I shift back before placing a kiss onto Kadence's cheek. "Thanks," I say. 
"Anytime," Kadence says, rubbing my back. Kadence and I sat down as the ceremony started.
