Intense
It became a wheezing sound interspersed with sudden trembling of his body.
Atmosphere becoming more and more tight.
My leaden lungs suppressed any efforts I made to inhale.
His breathing was rapid
Felt like a hand over the mouth was smothering him.
He sucked in another breath
Ragged breath moving in and out of his mouth at regular, gasping intervals.
Vivid
Lips trembling with each outlet of air
The air fed his heaving lungs and beating heart.
Shooting air out of his mouth with each breath he exhales.
I saw the rapid rise and fall of his chest.
Slowly dragging in air
I eased the air out of my lungs slowly
Spellbinding
His chest heaved rapidly with heavy panting
Seems to be no way to get any air into my lungs
Suffocating like a fish out of water
She drew her breath, and let it back out with a loud sigh, almost resembling the great winds of the north
Fascinating
Breathing deep and even, a gentle snuffling of air through his nose
His icy breath stabbed my cheek.
Drew in a steadying breath
Breathing so loudly he sounded like he had just ran ten miles.
Her daunting breath flowing into my face as she exhaled
