13 - Saving The School

                                    

                                          
Once Layla finds us all again while holding a map of the school we sit on the ground and she explains what happened.
"Here's the antigravity room." Layla points to a small room on the map laid on the floor. 
"But didn't Royal Pain seal off every route?" Magenta reminds us.
"Hey, what about this conduit?" Ethan then asks as he points to some pipes on the map. 
"Yeah right, you'd have to be like a rat to get in there." Zach says and then we all look up at Magenta. She looks up at us and sighs. 
"Oh, great." She says and we smile. While her, Zach and Ethan go to the conduit. Me, Layla and Warren head to the gym to help Will.
Once we run in and spot Gwen on the floor with Will, we shout. "Will!" Layla and I gain his attention. We then watch as Gwen supper punches Will out of the gym and out of school. 
We all cover our faces at the sound and watch as his body falls. "No!" Layla screams. 
"You've done it now, bitch!" I shout to Gwen.
"I'd like to see you try, Jada!" Gwen says to me. "'Cause there goes your last chance of stopping me." 
"We'll see!" I say and go to storm over to her but Warren hold me by the waist to stop me. Suddenly we watch as Will is flying outside the glass and facing us.
"Surprised? So am I." Will says to us. 
"You're flying!?" She shouts at him. 
"Guess our family is full of surprises." I say to her with a smirk as Will charges at her with his fist out. 
"That's impossible!!!" She then screams as Will picks her up and flies to the roof then drops her to the ground. 
Will lands next to Gwen and I watch as he does a super punch into Gwens helmet, breaking it into pieces.   
Will stands up from where he was and we all rush over to him. Me and Layla both engulf Will into a hug while Warren pats him on the back. Suddenly the building started to shake and we all drop to the ground as it starts to fall out of the sky. 
"The gravity has been turned off!" I shout over the noise of the wind. 
"Th school is falling!" Layla shouts at Will. He looks between us with worry then he runs and flies out of the building. 
We all hold onto each other, praying that Will and Magenta can stop the school from falling. When we realise that the school is getting closer to the ground, I hold onto Warren and cover my face in his chest, preparing for impact. He, in turn, wraps his arms around me a holds me tight. 
I feel Warren place his hand under my chin and he gives me a rushed kiss. He places his forehead on mine and our breaths are getting heavier. "I love you, Jada...." I hear Warren say. I look at him in shock of his words then the school jolts. 
I look out of the windows to see that we have stopped falling. I then watch as we start to fly upwards with some speed. After a minute or two we finally stop where the school originally was. I smile to myself at Will and Magenta saving the school. 
"The babies!" I then shout and look at the other two. They both click on to what I'm saying and we rush out to the bus full of babies. 
We all meet outside and open the back doors to the bus with the help of Ron and load all the babies out on the ground. We put all of them in rows and I notice two babies that look like Mom and Dad. I call Will over and we both crouch in front of them. 
I smile at their faces and the babies start to smile and giggle at us. "You're safe now, Mom and Dad." I say to the babies even thought they can't understand us.
"Now what?" I hear Layla say as she walks over. We both stand up and Will shrugs.
"Beats me." Will says. 
I then look around and try to think. The gun. We can rebuild it to revers the power.
"Perhaps I can be of assistance." We hear. I turn around to see Mr Medulla in a baby carrier and smile. 
"Wow, at least someone can still talk..." I whisper to the pair and walk over. "Sir, I was thinking, what if we rebuild the Pacifier to reverse it. Can that be done?" I ask him as Warren holds the baby.
"It should only take me a couple of hours, but yes, it is Miss Stronghold." I smile at his words and look at the group. "Mr Peace, would you please carry me to the Mad Science Lab? Miss Stronghold can you assist me?" I nod to the baby and smile at Warren's face. 
"Yeah, of course." I answer for us. 
"And Mr Peace." Mr Medulla then says. 
"Yeah?" Warren asks him. 
"Regrettably, I have made boom boom." Mr Medulla announces to us and we all step back.
I look at Warren and try not to laugh. "Yeah, you can deal with that. I'll find the gun and meet you in the Mad Science Lab." I inform Warren and Mr Medulla and walk into the school again.

Once Warren and Mr Medulla make it back to the lab I lay out the pieces I have already taken out of the Pacifier. Warren places Mr Medulla's baby carrier on the main desk and I notice that he's asleep. I'm stood on one of the front desks for students with the gun in front of me and a range of tools to take it apart. 
"I've taken out the main power source so while we take it apart we don't turn into babies." I inform Warren and he gives me a small smile. He walks over to my desk and holds his hands out for him to take a turn. I hand him the gun then pick up the next tool he needs. 
I watch him and he looks closely at the gun and slowly starts to unscrew something. He takes it off and hands it to me so I quietly place it in front of Mr Medulla. I walk back over to Warren and take a seat on the stall. I look down at my dress to see a few dust patches on my dress but the rest of my dress is clean. 
"So, you know how you said something earlier..." I start, referring to the three words he said earlier.
"What?" He asks, acting dumb. He then hands me the gun and I look at the piece he was trying to take out. I then look at the table and pick up the tool he would need. 
"While the school was falling and we all thought we were going to die. You kissed me then said-" 
"I love you." He says before I can. "Yeah, uh, sorry." He says then takes the piece to the table. 
I sigh and place the gun on the desk. I get of the stall and walk in front of Warren. I take one of his hands and he looks down at me. "Why are you sorry?" I ask him confused.
"I know it's a bit early to say that but I fell for you the same week we had our first fight." I smile up at his confession and he continues. "Ever since then I have just grown to like you more and more, I just never told you because I thought you hated me. When we came back this year and your brother joined I noticed that you didn't act like your brother when he expressed his hatred and I realised that the more we talked, the more that I love you." I look into his eyes and notice how vulnerable he is around me. "I understand if you don't want to be with me now. but I just wanted you to know that you have me wrapped around your finger and I will do anything for your l-"  
I cut his ramble of by leaning up and kissing him. I place my other hand on his shoulder to pull him closer and deepen the kiss. Once we pull apart I give him a goofy smile. "I love you too, you idiot." I say and he chuckles. He places his other hand on the back of my neck and pulls me in for another kiss. 
He kisses me with so much love and passion so I kiss back with as much passion as I can. I smile into the kiss, allowing Warren to slip his tongue in my mouth. We continue our little make out session until we both need air. When we lean apart, my lips hurt and we are both out of breath. 
"We should probably continue with the gun..." I say to him through deep breaths. He chuckles at me then pecks my lips one more time before leading me back to the desk. 
We spend the next two hours taking the rest of the gun apart and re-building it to use on the other babies. We tested it on Mr Medulla and then handed him the gun and left to find our friends.
