Destiny was a few feet away from where Jack made reservations for them, her nerves were at an all time high like they had never met before, as if a few months ago Jack wasn't the one person who knew her better than anyone else.

She figured he was already inside so she made her way in, seeing him sitting at a booth. Once she walked towards Jack she caught his attention which made him stand up as she approached him. "You look beautiful."

Jack reached out, pulling Destiny into a hug where he kissed her cheek. Just being held by him for a second Destiny felt a sense of comfort come over her and at that moment she realized just how much she missed Jack.

"Thank you for coming, I missed you." They both took a seat at the table, and as much as Destiny hated small talk she knew it'd be over soon enough. "I missed you too, I wasn't expecting you to want to see me again after what happened."

"I honestly wanted to see you that same night, I was expecting you to go back to my place afterwards but you were at the airport. Neelam told me to give you your space."

"As much as I was complaining about wanting space I just came home and missed you. I thought you were mad at me and I wanted to stand on business so I didn't reach out."

Jack laughed hearing her reasoning for not talking to him since December and shook his head. "You're stubborn as hell. Why would I have been mad at you? I was just embarrassed as hell, told everybody back home they would meet you and then there was no you. Had an imaginary girlfriend."

"My dad was asking about you, he got you Christmas gifts and everything. Then was questioning me when you got a new girlfriend apparently."

The waiter came by, taking their drink and food order before walking away. "Yeah what's up with that? Who's my new girlfriend?" Jack raised an eyebrow and had a goofy smile on his face as he awaited Destiny's response.

"No idea. I wasn't gonna look and hurt my feelings. He said an actor, I didn't wanna know." Destiny still didn't want to know, in a perfect world Jack wouldn't have gotten with anyone else in the past five months but she knew him.

"Oh Laura, my co-star. She's engaged."

Destiny rolled her eyes as she heard Jack's response. "I feel like that's not a dealbreaker for you."

"You're right. You could be married to that British guy and have kids and I'd still try to get with you. That's you though."

"You're sick. And a home wrecker. I don't want Central Cee."

Two plates of foods were sat on the table as well as drinks before the waiter came back with utensils and glasses of water for them.

"You've fucked my eating habits up, I used to like going out but I prefer your food."

"I'm not inviting you to my house so."

Jack couldn't help but laugh which had Destiny confused as to what was to funny.

"You gave me a key, remember that? And here are your cameras." Jack slid over two of Destiny's vlog cameras that she never retrieved as well as her spare key that Jack had.

"I hate that you're so matter of factly, I can never catch a break with you." Destiny grabbed her cameras, putting her key in her purse even though she would've been fine with Jack still having it.

"You caught a break for five months, missed our first holiday season, New Year's, Valentine's Day. That's more than enough."

"You're right, we'll makeup the lost time."

"When will we see each other again?" Jack asked as he placed his card down to pay for dinner. Destiny stayed silent for a little to think about it before responding.

"Whenever you want, I'm free."

They both got up after Jack finished tipping the staff and walked out to the parking lot. "I want to give you your space so how about you text me when you miss me. Miss me soon though."

Destiny nodded in agreement letting out a little laugh before hugging Jack, who tried his best to keep his hands on the upper part of her back. "Goodnight Jack."

A short car ride later Destiny made her way back to her place, it was late and she was exhausted so instead of spending the night editing like she usually would she decided to take some time to herself.

She turned on some jazz and decided to run a bath, while she took her bath she went through the two cameras full of vlogs with her and Jack in them.

Destiny was more than happy she had those memories and figured she'd edit a PG version and maybe feature it in one of her vlogs after a while. They did make her miss Jack though.

After her bath she did her night routine which was much more enjoyable now that she wasn't reshooting things and making sure she had the correct lighting. She figured she'd call it a night so she called Harley into the bed and turned off the lights.

She couldn't help but toss and turn though, her mind was running a mile a minute and she couldn't sleep for the life of her. Even after taking a melatonin, it was three in the morning and she had probably gotten thirty minutes of sleep in total.

As much as she hated what she was about to do because she knew it'd give Jack an ego boost, she sent an "I miss you" text.

Fifteen minutes later, he was knocking at her door.

"When I said soon I didn't mean five hours later." Jack laughed as he walked into the front door, immediately walking over and picking up Harley.

"You're the one who showed up I was just expecting you to text me." Destiny replied, making her way to her bedroom and of course Jack followed.

"What was I supposed to do for you over the phone?" He said with Harley still in his hands. He clearly was in the bed when Destiny texted him, having only brought his keys and phone and arriving in sweats and a t-shirt.

"I don't know, just hold me for a second Harley will be fine."

Jack obliged, lying down in the bed while he let Destiny get comfortable. They continued the conversation for a few minutes before Destiny was fast asleep.
