scrambling around the kitchen, wooyoung huffed in frustration. the restaurant was filling up and the orders were piling up by the minute. wooyoung was kind of back to normal in terms of being able to work without screwing up but an irritating voice behind him was seriously testing his patience
"come on, just tell me" yeosang followed wooyoung around, whining in his ear. it was ironic, considering that yeosang claimed to be the more serious one.
"shut up, yeosang" wooyoung grumbled, his eyebrows knit close together as he focused on plating the food. yeosang began to pull on wooyoung's arm, "let someone else do it, you've been working all day".
"because it's my job?" wooyoung responded to yeosang as if he was stupid. yeosang being so desperate to talk to wooyoung about last night absolutely baffled him.
wooyoung handed the plate to the front but before he could start on the next order, yeosang dragged him out of the kitchen and into his office. he quite literally shoved wooyoung inside and closed the door, locking it. wooyoung groaned and glared at yeosang.
"what the hell is wrong with you?" wooyoung grumbled while yeosang flipped the switch, turning on the light. yeosang seemed to pay no mind at how irritated wooyoung was and sat down, looking at wooyoung with his eyes widened in curiousity.
"tell me everything" yeosang eagerly asked and wooyoung rolled his eyes. yeosang had apparently seen wooyoung talk with san last night and has been pestering him about it ever since.
"it's none of your business" wooyoung snapped back, adamant about not telling yeosang anything. yeosang pursed his lips, the curiousity was eating him alive. it was the first time his friend liked someone and he'll be damned if he allowed wooyoung to leave him in the dark.
"you know i won't stop asking so you might as well tell me" yeosang remarked and wooyoung sighed. he could try but considering they work together, wooyoung knew it would be impossible to avoid yeosang. and yeosang was also quite persistent, it didn't look like he'd back off anytime soon.
"oh my god, fine!" wooyoung exclaimed, feeling utterly defeated. yeosang smirked happily in victory and leaned in closer in excitement, "so?".
"it wasn't a big deal" wooyoung tried playing it off, but the blush creeping on his cheeks said otherwise, "he just said he likes me". yeosang leaned back and squinted, "that's it? we already knew that" he slumped in his seat, completely unimpressed.
wooyoung was in awe at yeosang's switch-up. it was only a few days ago that yeosang was telling wooyoung to stay away from san and now he's wanting to know every detail about wooyoung's interactions with san.
yeosang suddenly sat up, "there's more, isn't there? i saw you both cuddling on the bench". wooyoung stared at yeosang, for someone so determined to look at stars that night, he seemed to have been looking everywhere but the sky.
"we were not cuddling" wooyoung insisted, his cheeks reddening, which yeosang seemed to find amusing. "he hugged me. i wasn't going to be rude and push him away". yeosang chuckled knowingly, "you totally liked it" he teased.
wooyoung sat up and cleared his throat, "whatever. you got what you wanted so i'm leaving now" he said as he got up to head towards the door.
"wait" yeosang called out, "what does this make you guys?". wooyoung frowned, puzzled, and turned back to yeosang, "what do you mean?".
"like are you guys dating?" wooyoung's eyes widened and he shook his head vehemently, "what? no!".
yeosang looked at wooyoung like he was the dumbest person alive, "why not? he likes you and you like him" yeosang pointed out. wooyoung just stared blankly and yeosang tilted his head, "you did tell him you like him, right?".
wooyoung shuffled awkwardly and looked down, not wanting to meet the look of bewilderment on yeosang's face.
"you can't be serious. why not?" yeosang asked in astonishment. "because i don't know if i do" wooyoung muttered sheepishly. yeosang rolled his eyes, remembering that wooyoung had never experienced a relationship before so this was all new to him.
"wooyoung, anyone with eyes can see that you like him. it's so obvious" yeosang huffed, crossing his arms. he didn't mean to get frustrated but it so painfully clear and wooyoung's obliviousness towards his own feelings was almost maddening.
"i'm just confused. i like being around him but i don't know if i like him in that way to be in a relationship with him" wooyoung admitted. yeosang pinched the bridge of his nose, trying to remain calm, "i didn't know you could be this dumb" he muttered under his breath.
wooyoung shot him a glare, about to retort, when a sudden knock on the office door startled them both. opening the door, wooyoung was surprised to see the hostess standing there with a very annoyed look on her face.
"i'm sorry to interrupt you but that man is here again and he won't leave" she said while rolling her eyes. wooyoung furrowed his eyebrows and the two men followed the hostess to the front where they saw san standing there.
san smiled upon meeting eyes with wooyoung, sending a warm, fuzzy feeling coursing through him.
"san! what brings you here?" yeosang asked with the cheeriest voice wooyoung has ever heard. san must've been taken aback because furrowed his eyebrows for a minute.
"i have plans with wooyoung" san replied once he regained his composure. wooyoung looked at san confused, since when did they have plans?
"i'm busy" wooyoung hastily said and turned away. he was about to walk to the kitchen when yeosang stopped him, he turned wooyoung back around, his hands on his shoulders, urging him forward to san.
"he's absolutely not busy" yeosang insisted and pushed wooyoung slightly. "what are you talking about? we have all these people-" wooyoung's voice trailed off when he saw yeosang glare at him like he was telling him to stay quiet.
"he's all yours" yeosang said, glancing back at san and leaving wooyoung stunned with a pat on his shoulder. wooyoung's eyes widened at yeosang's statement and it must have caught san off guard as well because a faint blush colored his cheeks.
wooyoung glanced up at san as they exited the restaurant, "what are you doing here?" he asked, still a bit flustered. san looked at wooyoung, "what do you mean? i told you yesterday that i'd see you after work".
wooyoung frowned, he couldn't remember san saying anything of the sort. seeing that wooyoung was confused, san chuckled, "maybe you didn't hear me. i said it before you ran off to yeosang". wooyoung's mouth formed into an 'o', he had rushed off so quickly after san hugged him so it was possible he didn't catch what san said.
"but why did you come?" wooyoung inquired, his curiosity piqued. san simply shrugged, his casual demeanor contrasting with the intensity of his words. "i missed you," he admitted, causing wooyoung to halt in his tracks.
"we just saw each other yesterday" wooyoung protested, ignoring how rapidly his heart was beating at san's bluntness. san slung an arm aroung wooyoung's shoulder, pulling him closer.
"so? i miss you every second i'm not with you" san replied, leaving wooyoung speechless. it amazed him how san was able to say this stuff so casually. "you're crazy" wooyoung mumbled.
upon hearing wooyoung, san looked down at wooyoung with his dazzling eyes and dimpled smile, "yes, i am. because you make me crazy".
