"hey! don't go putting words in my mouth! you lying fucker," jungwon attacked riki with a glare.
riki only smiled lovingly at him and gave him a kiss on the forehead, "good morning gorgeous."
"aish... please just kill me now," sunoo mumbled to himself. he didn't find it amusing how he was surrounded by couples now.
everyone heard him so they all laughed as they entered the hall that lead to the office. heeseung, as the oldest one, was about to open the door for everyone to walk in, but somebody else did it for him. from the inside, jay had opened the door and stopped on his tracks.
"oh, hey guys! are you all here to get your schedules?" jay asked with a smile.
"yes!" heeseung said and the rest nodded along.
"i got them for you all actually, since i was already coming here." 
after jay finished his sentence somebody behind him peaked their head above jay's shoulder. in a matter of microseconds sunoo gasped silently and covered his mouth. everyone else turned to look at the person behind jay and jake only smiled surprised.
"ah, that's right. the ta asked me to show the new student around. everyone, say hi to park sunghoon, he's gonna be joining jake's and my year, although in a different major. park sunghoon, this is lee heeseung, a year older than us, sim jake, nishimura riki, yang jungwon, and kim sunoo." jay introduced.
"i know," sunghoon said without looking away from kim sunoo. to him he said, "hey... glad we meet again."
sunoo was visibly surprised, he couldn't utter a word for a second, either way he smiled and bowed a little just like everyone else.
"you know?" jay asked sunghoon.
"actually," jake intervened, "i know him. he's a friend of mine from australia, but sunghoon you bastard! why didn't you tell me you'd be coming here too?" jake joked.
sunghoon laughed, "it was a surprise!"
"a nice one at that..." sunoo mumbled to himself, his smile wasn't bitter anymore, but genuinely pleased.
"but why did you all come here? i asked heeseung to tell you that i'd be taking your schedules to you myself," jay questioned.
suddenly sunoo glared at heeseung, the latter knew and didn't even want to see him. he had seen the text from jay that morning but after jake woke up he completely forgot about it.
"really? i don't think i remember that..." heeseung played fool, but jay was smarter.
"you even texted back though? incoherent words but you did," jay replied and opened their chat to show everyone.
heeseung laughed awkwardly as he accidentally locked eyes with sunoo, who had a murdering stare in that precise moment. the oldest was bracing himself for the scolding of a lifetime but park sunghoon came to his rescue.
he had walked beside sunoo and put his hand on his shoulder to get his attention.
"well, i'm glad you came here. otherwise we probably wouldn't have met again so soon." sunghoon said cheerful with a small grin, making sunoo's rage fade away and be substituted by timid happiness.
feeling completely relieved sunghoon distracted everyone, heeseung led the way to show the newcomers around campus. when it came to getting to their first classes of the day, jay walked sunghoon, sunoo, and to heeseung's dismay, jake, since they were headed to the same building.
heeseung, on the other hand, had to take the youngest ones with him, even though his building was on the other side of campus. but he was a good friend, and he didn't want jungwon nor riki to miss their first class because they got lost, or because jungwon finally broke riki's hands after the younger constantly pinched jungwon's cheeks.
just before parting ways though, heeseung rushed to jake and held his hands. it had been only two weeks since jake had arrived and heeseung spent most of his free time around the younger, but he still felt the torturing tug on his chest when they had to separate.
and jake loved being the reason for heeseung's greediness and longing. after nothing but four years of wishful thinking on his side, jake relished on heeseung's feelings for him every time.
"i'll come get you once your classes end, all you need to do is text me, alright? i'll be there in a heartbeat," heeseung promised.
jake giggled at heeseung's insistence. that morning jake had voiced some of his many worries for his first day in college in korea. heeseung being so attentive of him reminded him of the old times, except now their relationship was so much more; and it made jake the happiest.
"i'll text you when i'm done," jake reassured, the smile he had probably already shown as goofy as he felt.
