As much as I recently tried to save Murphy's life, I completely regret it now.

Charlotte's confession didn't sit well with anyone besides Clarke, Finn, Octavia, Jasper, Bellamy and I. Octavia and Jasper worked moreso on crowd control, whilst the other five of us - including Charlotte herself, went quickly back to the main tent. Murphy's constant shouting of threats from outside aren't helping.

"I didn't mean to," Charlotte begs, "I was just trying to slay my demons like you said, Bellamy." It's hard to mask the shock of my features. I knew that the two had exchanged words but that?

"Charlotte you misunderstood me - that's not what I meant," Bellamy defends himself quickly.

"BRING THE GIRL OUT NOW!!" Murphy screams. I should have let him hang.

"Please don't let them hurt me." Fear causes the girl's voice to waver and I feel some pity. Some. She still killed him.

"If you guys have any bright ideas," Bellamy says, looking at Finn, Clarke and I, "speak up." The three of us exchange glances. Nothing. "Now you stay quiet?!" He flips and if this was under other circumstances I would find the comment amusing.

"LET'S BUILD A SOCIETY, PRINCESS!" Murphy's taunting is getting old. "PUT IN PLACE SOME LAWS!" I read the look in Bellamy's staredown with Clarke. He thinks this is her fault. She knows he isn't wrong. But equally, what else was going to happen?

"Please don't let them hurt me, Bellamy," Charlotte prays.

Carefully, he gets to one knee. "It's going to be alright," he ensures. "Just stay here." The words spark something in my mind. She can't stay here.

"I have an idea," I whisper and all eyes flick to me. I tell them the very short, and roughly put together plan. It ends with Clarke and I hugging tightly, and me telling her she can do it. Like Bellamy said, it's going to be alright. Bellamy exists the tent and I shadow his footsteps. Murphy's bloody face lightens at the sight of us. I exchange looks with both Jasper and Octavia.

"Look whose decided to join us," Murphy taunts, walking towards us. The outcome of this conversation was definitely an empty unknown in my plan.

"Back off," Bellamy instructs.

"Or what?" Murphy counteracts. "Are you gonna hang me?"

"That's what the people wanted," I say from behind Bellamy in his defense.

Murphy scoffs. "Let's do that right now, shall we?" He turns around, stalking back towards the gathered crowd. "Who here wants to see the REAL murderer hung up?!" To my pleasure, only him and five others at the front raise their arms. Of course Kale is one of them. But overall, definitely not what he expected. "I see," Murphy drops his arm. "So, it's okay to string me up for nothing, but when this little bitch confesses, you wanna let her walk?!" Silence is his only reply. "COWARDS!" He goes on. "COWARDS! ALL OF YOU!!"

"Murphy!" Bellamy shouts. "It's over."

I wait for a punch to be thrown. For Murphy to spit in his face. But he surrenders. "Whatever you say, Boss."

Bellamy turns around at his yield. He gives me a small grin which those behind him cannot see. But then Murphy is moving swiftly to his right. Straight to the pile of logs. "Bellamy!" I stress, starting towards the pair, but it's too late. Murphy strikes Bellamy across the back of his neck with the piece of wood.

Octavia, too, is running for her brother. Murphy doesn't step down but Jasper puts himself inbetween them. He receives the blow meant for Octavia, falling back into her. "Let's get the girl!" Murphy orders, coming my way. I get out my knife, putting it between him and I. "You don't have the balls," he teases, walking forward and I lunge, but I'm redirected by his defence team, off course. I only manage to swipe Murphy's arm before my body collides with the ground. "Bitch!" Murphy swears but my head is dizzy. The weight that tackled me is gone now and Murphy is shouting about Charlotte's lack of presence.
