Looking down at her bedroom floor in shock, Adelaide checked the book once again before looking back at the floor.

It was perfect.

It taken way too many hours to find the ritual she had been looking for, followed by the hours long car drive to get all the ingredients she needed. Not to mention all of the markings that needed to be present while doing the ritual.

It had been a nightmare but finally, 6 hours later, it was done.

The floor was covered in rice and different spices - many of which she had never even heard of until today and all of which were currently staining her cream carpet. It didn't really bother Adelaide but she had carpet cleaner on standby incase Winnie decided to make an early appearance, which was unlikely but not impossible.

Luckily for her, the ritual needed no unknown language for it to work. The book was written in English, so it was an easy read, something she was unbelievable grateful for.

Time to get Pandora back.

Steeling herself, Adelaide stepped into the obscene amount of overlapping circles that made up the physical part of the ritual, holding the book in her hands. Taking a deep breath, she checked the instructions one more time before starting.

'Stars and Moon, here my call,

A daughter of the boogieman is required, lest I fall,

Listen close and do not delay,

Bring her forth for me today!'

She finished with a shout, stomping her left foot twice before looking around the room expectantly, a smile gracing her features in excitement.

Nothing happened.

"Hello?" She called out to the empty room, still hoping that Pandora would suddenly materialise from thin air.

Silence.

Adelaide was frozen, the reality of her failure and what it meant hitting her just as white hot anger filed her veins.

It hadn't worked.

It hadn't worked!

Dropping the book, she started kicking the rice and spice, destroying the ritual space she had spent so much time on - all for nothing.

"Stupid...stupid..stupid!" She forced out with each kick, trying to stop herself from screaming with annoyance.

Her carpet was now a myriad of red, golds and greens, as were Adelaide's feet, the spices sticking to anything they possible could in what couldn't be anything but an attempt to make the young woman even angrier.

A smooth chuckle came from behind her, her whole nervous system screeting to a hault at the sound.

"Oh dear, what a mess. You'll never be able to get rid of me now." A velvety voice said from across the room.

Turning around, Adelaide's eyes widened at the sight of a strange, naked women lying on her bed. "You're not Pandora." She said, voice tight as she purposefully avoided looking at the woman's naked body.

Another chuckle filled the room. "No, I'm not, unfortunately." She said with a forced pout, mocking you. "But you didn't ask for her, did you? I believe your specific words were 'A daughter, correct?" She didn't wait for you to answer. "There was no name spoken - you asked for a daughter of the boogieman and here I am. My name's Ilixia."

Lost for words, Adelaide could do nothing but observe the women that lay before her. This was Pandora's sister? They looked nothing alike!

Ilixia was beautiful, of course, but nothing compared to Pandora. She had dark green skin covered in different sized lumps, purple eyes and hair as black as night. They all complimented each other in a way Adelaide would have never thought was possible, but she still couldn't get Pandora's bright yellow eyes out of her mind, staring down adoringly as she came on her fingers.
