Can't get it out of my head so here's my thoughts on what God/goddess the marvel characters would be

The first one I can think of is Nat being like Athena. Smart, quick thinking in battle, endless strategies, strong

Hear me out but Tony is like Apollo. They both act like they're self centered and they kind of are but deep down, they are just boys who wanted dad's approval. Bonus points for their dads being complete shit

It might be a bit of a stretch but Artemis for Yelena.
Younger siblings, eternal maidens and like
.... Being the goddess of the hunt can be like being a mercenary plus friends with other girls who are similar (the hunters choose to be eternal maidens and the widows, well...)

Now, Zeus.... If you ignore his bad qualities... He is the king of Gods. He's one of the eldest and well known. For that, Steve....

Bucky as Poseidon. Brother to Zeus, an elder god plus the whole like ocean analogy.... I think fits him. The ocean is warm and inviting unless you underestimate it or betray it then it's cold and just.

Now... Mars and Ares. Wanda. Easy. Ares and Mars are the same person but Mars is the worst personality of the war God. If you cross paths with him, you hope it's not Mars. Wanda = Ares. Scarlet Witch = Mars.

Again, hear me out but I think Peter as Hades... He's the most forgotten and even when they divvied up the world, he got stuck in the worst part. Peter... All Peter wanted was to be an avenger, be like the people he grew up watching. He got stuck with the hero's curse. Dead parents, dead mentor, dead aunt. The world forgot him including his girlfriend and best friend. And before they forgot him, most people hated Peter for a lie told by Mysterio.

Not a big fan of Steggy but oh well. Peggy as Hera. Hera is the goddess of marriage and queen of the gods. She only reproduces with Zeus though Zeus hooks up with whoever. In the first timeline, Peggy does marry another man but I don't think she ever fully got over Steve and I'm not here trying to reduce Peggy to a love interest. She's a strong character in her own right but yeah...

Loki as Hermes. Yes, yes. Loki is Norse and so is Thor and Odin and all but look ....God of thievery. Loki is the trickster god. I rest my case. (Simply only speaking of the MCU version of Loki)

Uh.... Carol as Aphrodite. Any chance I get to talk about my fave sapphic.... "Venus, planet of love was destroyed by global warming" I actually really don't like Aphrodite. In any version, mythology or fiction based on the myths. She's just not my cup of my tea. And in pjo, she's kind of a bitch. Buuuuuut. There is that whole Aphrodite rite of passage thing going on. Silena and Piper suffered the consequences and for this I choose Carol. She loved Maria and Monica but she felt like she couldn't stay because of her mistakes and she suffered. She lost Maria to cancer and Monica grew a little distant only to be separated in another universe.

Clint for Hestia. You don't hear a lot of people say they like either figure but they're there and do their job. They're overlooked often times but are the most kind hearted people.

Dionysus = Sam. They're "newest" and while yes, Dionysus was a mortal hero first and a child of Zeus, he became a god. Sam assumed the role of captain America. Not to mention they're both fun and hilarious???? And know how to party.

I think Bruce is like Demeter. she resembles growth , basically. And from Avengers 1, Bruce has grown significantly. He goes in his own time and he's gentle with the things he cares about

Stretch but Fury and Hephaestus. When things get tough, they isolate. They shut people out. Opening up isn't in their nature but they've built something. Hephaestus has his machine and Fury has shield.
