'Isaac. It's time.'

Isaac's eyes popped open and he breathed a small sigh of relief as he felt Ace's presence in his mind. 'Man am I glad to feel you.'

'I've always been here,' Ace grumbled.

'You know what I mean,' Isaac grumbled back.

'Let's get out of here,' Ace said.

'We need to worry about Mila,' Isaac reminded him. 'Can you sense anything about Ethan?'

'Not close. Bond is messed up,' Ace told him.

'What does that mean?'

'Not sure,' Ace responded.

Isaac didn't like that. Ethan wasn't within mind linking distance either. He sighed and yanked his hands free from the wall, then stood and stretched. Mila was dozing. She was his first priority. If something happened to her, Ethan would be devastated.

He knelt down next to her, and lightly shook her. "Mila?"

She awoke with a start. "Ethan?"

"No, it's Isaac," he reminded her.

She frowned and stared at him for a moment, blinking. "Right. You're free?"

"Yeah. My wolf and I have reconnected. I'm going to get us out of here," he told her.

"Oh good. This isn't comfortable," she muttered.

Isaac grabbed a hold of her cuff and pulled it free from the wall. He helped her up and watched her stretch.

"Okay. You're going to stick close to me, and if you suspect any sort of danger at all, you let me know." He studied her.

"Okay. Is this a good idea?"

"It's our best option." Now that he had his wolf back, he could easily take them all on. His only weakness would be Mila.

He walked over to the door and forced it open, and looked outside. They were in a long hallway, and he moved Mila close to his side as they headed down the hallway, his senses on high alert.

The scents of three rogues and the man that had spoken to him reached him, and he stopped. He breathed in deeply, scenting the air. They were the only scents he could identify besides Owen, which had grown faint, and Mila. He couldn't even scent Ethan or Riley at all.

He looked at Mila and motioned for her to remain quiet. He leaned in close to her ear. "There are only four people here, and they're all in that room. I want you to stay put while I go in. Don't move. They won't be able to leave that room. I won't let them."

She looked up at him and nodded. "Be careful," she mouthed to him.

He nodded and pushed open the door, stepping inside. The four men were sitting around watching TV but they all looked up when Isaac walked in.

"Hey! How did you get out?" one of them asked.

"There's no way," another said.

But the leader was staring at him, his eyes narrowed. "Boys, get 'em!"

They all sprung into action and Isaac released his powerful aura, dropping them to their knees.

The four kneeled, their heads bowed, their necks bared in submission. Three of the four shook in fear, and Isaac could smell the stench of urine. "Seriously?" he muttered.

"How?" the leader groaned. He was afraid too; Isaac could hear it in his voice.

"I'm way more powerful than you think I am," Isaac said.
