They wouldn't let her go with them to pick up the members from Regal Eclipse. Not that she'd been surprised about that, but Levi was concerned for her safety. She was still in his office with Max and Rebekah. Someone was standing outside the door, guarding the room, and someone else was outside the window.

She'd been pacing, annoyed that there was nothing she could do, and now nervous that she was about to meet the King of all Werewolves, who was basically going to be her father-in-law, without her mate. What a way to meet his family.

She knew Max and Rebekah were amazed at how calm she was. The one she was most worried about was Mila, but she couldn't explain to them why, and she remained rather vague with her answers.

"They're here," Max said quietly, his gaze darting to Riley.

Rebekah stood and crossed the room to him, while Riley stood herself. She wished she'd dressed better for this, but given the circumstances, she supposed it didn't matter. Would he be less than impressed with her? She supposed he'd be wearing a suit. Was that what Kings wore? Werewolf Kings? She had no idea.

The door opened a moment later, and five men walked in, along with two women, followed by Levi. Of them all, the only one she recognized was Nick. He'd been the one to call Ethan after everything had happened with Mila.

She looked the others over. One of the women was standing very close to Nick, and she guessed she was his mate, and would be Isaac's sister. One of the men stepped towards her, and she looked him over.

He had brown hair, and blue eyes, and his resemblance to Isaac and Ethan was uncanny, and she realized she was staring at the Alpha King. She quickly bowed her head. She wished now that she knew the proper protocol, that Isaac was with her for this moment.

"Riley?" His voice was warm, she could detect a slight accent just from her own name.

"Alpha," she said softly.

To her surprise, he took her hands in his and gave her a sad smile. "It's a pleasure to meet you. I just wish it was under different circumstances."

She nodded, unsure of what to say. She could feel the tears coming, and swallowed them back. The last thing she wanted to do was stand here and cry in front of the King.

"I'm Daniel, Isaac's dad, and this is my mate, Jenna," he said softly as the other woman stepped towards her.

She stared at him in surprise at the way he'd introduced himself. Completely informal and not what she'd expected. He was wearing jeans and a T-shirt to her surprise. No suit.

Her gaze moved to the woman next to him. She had brown hair piled up on top of her head and green eyes. She was tiny, and definitely not where Isaac had gotten his height from.

To Riley's surprise, Jenna came forward and hugged her. Riley remembered Isaac telling her that his mom had been human at one point.

"Have you met my daughter, Noelle?" Daniel asked her.

"No sir, though I have met Nick," she said as they both approached her. She hoped Nick didn't have a title, because if he did, she had no idea what is was. Max and Rebekah had called him Nick though.

Noelle hugged her as well, and Riley brushed at a tear, taking a deep breath. Jenna wrapped an arm around her again.

"My father, Caleb," he said and another man stepped forward and gave her a smile. He too had brown hair and blue eyes, and Riley could see the resemblance as well. He also looked to be Isaac's age and was gorgeous too. The Remington men were all quite good looking, she realized.

"My Beta, Ragnar," he referred to the only blond man in the group, and Riley dropped her gaze under his intense blue one. But he gave her a reassuring smile.
