Over the next few days, life began to settle into a routine for Mila. She had to depend on Ethan much more than she realized because of her broken wrist, but he didn't seem to mind helping her with the simplest tasks. He never complained either, just did whatever she asked, his gorgeous eyes always just studying her with a small smile, like he lived to be at her beck and call.

He took her to work every day and stuck around, keeping an eye on her. She and Riley had both thought it odd at first, until he explained that he wanted to make sure Owen didn't show up. Mila was actually happy he was there. He helped her out quite a bit, since she couldn't do much.

He ended up contacting Levi for help and sometimes he would disappear for a few hours while someone else would stay with her.

Mila found she preferred it was him. She didn't say that, but she was happier when he was there. After the second time he left, she finally asked. "Where do you disappear to?"

"To do a few things, and let Maverick out." After that, he told her where he was going. He was never gone for long though.

Riley had been surprised that she'd moved in with him. "Are you two like a thing now?"

Mila had shrugged at that. "I don't know what we are. We're just getting to know each other."

She still really didn't know a lot about him though, but if she asked, he'd tell her. Noelle has been right. If she wanted to know something, she needed to ask.

She'd learned that he had two brothers and two sisters and he was the youngest. She'd been a little floored to find out that he was a twin.

"You have a twin brother?"

"Yeah."

"Identical?"

He'd smiled at that. "Yeah."

"You have a picture?"

He had, showing her one on his phone.

She shook her head as she looked at it.

"What?"

"I always thought it was illegal for any man to be as good looking as you, and now I find out there's two of you." She couldn't really see any differences between them either.

He'd rolled his eyes at that. He seemed completely unaware of how gorgeous he really was.

He'd asked about her family as well, and she told him about being an only child and that both of her parents were gone, her father just recently. She'd cried over that, and had found herself in his arms being comforted by him.

She also spent every night in his bed. It had become a thing with them, and she realized she slept better. She'd tried to sleep in her own, but she couldn't sleep, and ended up crawling in his. He was always awake too, and would lift the blankets up for her to crawl in and snuggle up with him.

Finally, he'd straight out asked her about it. "Why do you even bother going to your own bed? You know you're going to end up in mine."

She'd shrugged on that. "I don't know." She'd still gone to her own bed that night. He'd walked in, picked her up and carried her to his own.

"Ethan!" She'd protested when he'd picked her up. "I'm too heavy for you to be carrying around."

He'd snorted at that. "You're not. Do you know how much I can bench?"

"I'm supposed to be in my own room."

"Says who? You and I both know you're going to be in here in an hour. You belong in my bed, and we both know it. Besides, then I don't have to lay here for an hour staring at the ceiling." He'd crawled in next to her and she'd immediately curled up into his side. He wasn't wrong. She preferred his bed, simply because he was in it.
