the triplets were all back in huston before the next tournament. with this quick break capri focused on dance, ale on boxing and dom on baseball.
capri was doing her daily stretches in her room while music played until her phone started to buzz. she picked it up to see a text from nelson.

smiling as she turned her phone off, she went downstairs to see her sister maddie with her friend brooke on the living room couch. 
"mads are you busy?" capri asked, smiling at the two.
"not really. what's up?"
"could you take me to nelson's game today?" she asked, making the older girls smile.
"oh you're little boyfriend? sure." 
scoffing as she turned she said, "not my boyfriend mads."
she went and changed into a gray cropped t-shirt that said 'dazed n confused' with a old school car and some shorts. she slipped on white high top converse and ran her hands through her hair as she went outside to maddies car. 
20 minutes later they got to the gym. "nelson said i could hang out with him and his family after." capri said as she took her seatbelt off. 
"alright have fun. not to much fun." maddie told her with a smirk making capri roll her eyes as she closed the car door.
she texted nelson that she was there and they found each other in the parking lot. "hey nelly." she smiled as he pulled her into a hug.
"hey ri. my game doesn't start until another like 30 or so minutes cause a game went overtime. my parents and brothers are inside but i was chillin in the car."
shrugging, she nodded. "cool." she followed him into his car and they immediately got comfortable. his arm around her shoulders and her leaning into him while they watched tiktok on her phone. "what are we doing after your game?"
"probably get food then hang out at my house." he told her as the door swung open. the two jumped up, pulling away from each other to see cam, lavar and ray.
the two looked at each other confused as they got out the car. "how'd you find me?"
"what the fuck is that?" cam asked, ignoring nelson's question while pointing to his jersey.
"my jersey."
with his hands on his hips, cam asked "since when did you play for j3l elite?"
