Arc 1 - chapter:2 system whats going on?

                                    

                                          
In a CEO's spacious office stood a man with his phoenix eyes narrowed as he looked outside the tempered glass of his office. His fingertips touching the glass carelessly as he himself remained in deep thoughts. 
He had prominent facial features,he had a beauty mole at the corner of his right eye. He had dark ink like short hair, they appeared to be very soft, he had dark black Phoenix eyes which remained narrowed as he looked at hustle and bustle below. 
Many turbulent emotions were emerging in his dark Phoenix eyes and for a very rare moment he was confused.
He was confused as to why he had returned to this world. Hasn't he already done his part?
Finally after a long time he took back his gaze and said, "System, what's going on?"
The system appeared out of thin air. It was a blue fluffy ball. 
[Host something went wrong with the higher ups and now there is no one in control. It is rumoured that an unknown force had killed off the main system god and now you no longer need to be under his control. However that mysterious man who killed off the main system god had given every host 'a chance to make up for their regrets'] 
The man said, "make up for regret you say?" 
The system again said, [Baibai, isn't that wonderful? You now no longer need to follow the plot!] 
Xiao Bai calmly said, "Don't call me with that weird name" 
All the turbulent emotions emerging in his eyes disappeared in air as if they never existed.
He went back and sat in his CEO seat. 
"Am I back in this world to 'make up for my regret'?", said Xiao Bai.
[Host it seems so... by the way host what are you going to do now?] The system asked curiously. 
Xiao Bai replied with a straight expressionless face, "what else? No longer follow the plot and thats it!" 
The system, [...]
[...That's it?]

Xiao Bai curled his lips and asked the system,"So what timeline are we in?"

There was another knock on the door.
Xiao Bai said, "please come in." 
Secretary Xu led a handsome man in suit inside in a respectable way. 
That man had an Unaproachable aura around him. He had a very beautiful facial feature which did not make him look feminine rather they merely added to his handsomeness. He had black short hair. His siren eyes were a rare color of blue. He walked inside the cabin and stood there.
Clearly that man was Lu Qi. 
The older brother of the protagonist gong. 
Xiao Bai asked the secretary to leave and asked Lu Qi to sit on the coach. 
Xiao Bai raised an eyebrow and asked, "Mr. Lu what brings you here?"
