The girl's figure perched at the window of her dorm room, casting a forlorn gaze over the dimly lit Hogwarts grounds. The crescent moon hung low in the sky, its ethereal glow illuminating a small lake that lay beyond the Black Lake. Its tranquil waters shimmered like a thousand tiny diamonds, but their beauty did little to soothe the ache in her heart. She felt an overwhelming sense of loneliness that gnawed at her soul, a void that seemed to consume her very being.
The letter her mother sent was scrunched up in her hand, refusing to let any other eyes but her own to read.
My dearest girl,
Please remember to keep up your training. I know it can be difficult and is being used against what we believe. But we must comply. I've sent Trixie over for the time your at school, 7 in the room of requirements every Tuesday and Thursday, it works around your patrolling then.
Please remember not to do too much either. Stick to the healing, wandless magic and fighting. Nothing more. I mean it Alf.
Your father knows you're getting stronger, and so does the Dark Lord. I'm sorry this happened to you my child. Please stay safe
Lots of love your mother
Eloise HendrixHer skin, a rich tapestry of hues, glistened in the moonlight. But it was her eyes that truly betrayed her inner turmoil. Green in color, they shimmered with an emerald-like intensity, reflecting the pain and hurt that had haunted her for far too long.
As she stared out at the moonlit landscape, she couldn't help but regret her past choices. She wished she had made an effort to befriend her fellow students, to follow in her brother's footsteps, to do anything that might have eased the loneliness that now consumed her. But it was too late for regrets. She was alone, and she feared that she would always would be.
Her heart shattered into a million pieces, releasing a torrent of tears that she could no longer contain. Her father's cruel decree echoed in her mind, forbidding her from expressing her pain. As she gazed around the desolate dorm, the emptiness of her surroundings mirrored the void within her soul. The three empty beds stood as a stark reminder of her isolation, mocking her with their pristine sheets and untouched pillows.
She stood up, her hands brushing over each of the beds as she walked past, she pulled her wand out and cried as she made the beds vanish and change more into different furniture. She even made her bed bigger than the double it was.
She sank to the floor, her knees trembling beneath her. Her heart throbbed with an unbearable ache, not only for her own loneliness but also for the stolen future that she longed for. Her amber-green eyes shimmered with envy as she rendered all the times she had seen people happy with friends, their laughter and camaraderie a cruel reminder of what she had been denied. Jealousy gnawed at her, twisting her insides with a bitter pang of longing.
