"Yer know each other?" The Mohawk man questioned with some kind of surprise and desire to know the answer. Price and Gaz shared a gaze and both chuckled slightly.
"Two years ago, me and Captain helped Farah to fight against Barkov's force and himself. Quiet's unit was present too. Lieutenant of JTF2." The end of the sentence was turned towards Quiet, Gaz raised an eyebrow at her and she took a big breath as her former team being brought back up made her violet eyes widen. Creating a overwhelming inned turmoil in her. She looked at Ghost and met his unwavering gaze, he, somehow, waited for a reply from her. Desperate for answers to why was she a private now?
"I stepped off my title for personal reasons, I might get it back in a couple months." Quiet answered, half telling the truth and half telling a lie. She couldn't reveal what happened to the JTF2. Why they weren't active. Or why Quiet stepped back from this honorable title.
It was too hard to explain.

Quiet
Price announced to all of us that there would be a small stretching then a sparring session, so that they knew what my fighting skills looked like. And maybe, thinking about giving me back my lieutenant title? Gaz was my first rival during this sparring session organized by Price.
Cap man had a smirk on his face as we both got in position, one of my fist was ligthly pressed against my chin while the other stayed in front of my chest, bending my knees ever so slightly in a defensive posture. While he got in position, I took the oportunity to find his weakness by simply checking his posture. Once his fists were brought up his face, I striked first, a good jab right under his rib. It made him stumble a bit, I probably took him by surprise. He aimed at my face, he striked and only hit me once from his multiple punches sent. Gaz then proceeded to target my leg prosthesis, one of my only weaknesses in sparring. However, I anticipated his move and stuck out my foot to make him trip, which worked succesfully. Gaz tried catching himself by holding my arm but I dodged his hand and moved to the side before pinning him down with my elbow while keeping a good grip on him.
I won against him. I stood up first, holding my hand with a small nod. A peace offering. The sergeant took my hand and shook it, letting his sweaty embrace envelope my hand in a gesture I am not used to.
"I guess I underestimated you, Quiet" He admitted, letting go off my gloved hand before I turned to Price's gaze, asking in my usual Quebecois voice I haven't used since yesterday.
"J'peux m'tirer une bûche, Price?" I asked, not realizing I've just used a fucking expression they don't understand in a language they know even less. They all looked at me with a confused and slightly judging stare, I bowed my head lightly and responded stoically.
"Apologies, I simply meant to ask if I could sit down for a bit?" I continued, letting them the time understand my fast spoken canadian english. Gaz surely looked confused as fuck with just how disgusted he looked through the sweat he accumulated during the intense fight he had no chance in winning. Price gave me a nod while Ghost somehow growled?
"Is something bothering you, Lt?" I asked, tilting my head to the side as I let myself down on one of the bench close to the small battle arena. I didn't anticipated to be fight training so I simply put on the prothesis that I used to walk. Not the one to fight so I felt completely numb below my thighs. I sighed while waiting for an answer that would never escape his masked lips.
