Chapter 7 - The Chuunin Exams part 2 "The Forest Of Death"

                                    

                                          
Day 1 
In the forest of death
Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura were sitting silently in a tree while Naruto concentrated on sensing anything nearby, his clones had been gone for around thirty minutes now. Naruto finally stopped sensing and looked over to his teammates, he then told them that he had sensed numerous shinobi and the fighting had just began, he then told them of a couple rabbits nearby that they could eat while they wait for his clones to gather the Intel they needed. Sasuke and Sakura agreed that it was time for some food, the sun was out but it wasn't quite mid-day yet. All three of them climbed down the tree to the surface of the forest, they crouched and crept towards the pack of rabbits, Naruto counted seven rabbits, Sasuke then suggested that Naruto take three because his accuracy and speed were the best in the group and then Sakura and he himself would take two each, they all agreed and then got in position in a bush, as soon as they were in a position where all the rabbits were near, they attacked, Sasuke used his bow to take down his rabbits instantly, Sakura grabbed her two rabbits when they started to hop away from Sasuke, they had jumped right towards her hiding spot and she snapped their necks, Naruto used three kunai's to kill his rabbits instantly as well, it was a successful divide and conquer strategy but now they had food. Naruto and Sasuke had hunted before so they knew had to clean the rabbit but this was Sakura's first time so they showed her how to skin them, cut them open and remove the blood and any organs that weren't good for consumption, at first Sakura felt quesy but she adapted right away because this would be apart of everyday life for a shinobi, both Naruto and Sasuke saw this, Naruto was proud of Sakura and happy that she was getting stronger and stronger everyday, Sasuke on the other hand was starting to see Sakura in a different way, he had already found her attractive because she was beautiful but now she was getting stronger, she had turned away from being a fangirl that he couldn't tolerate, to a strong shinobi and Sasuke found that new side of her beautiful as well. So he had then decided that he would become stronger first and then he would ask for Sakura to be his one day, Naruto saw this and smiled at Sasuke's resolve and new found love for Sakura, he knew that it was only the beginning but it would blossom beautifully, but he did laugh a little because they both were just blushing right now, while they gut and clean rabbits, Sakura had noticed Sasuke's blush but she chose to savor the moment because he was only blushing when he looked at her. After they finished cleaning all the rabbits, they started a fire to eat quickly and then move into the next tree a little ways away from them. After they ate, they found their tree and climbed to the top, they would be sleeping there in a few hours, Naruto's clones were still out so they decided to rest while they can. A couple hours later, Naruto's clones had found all of the scrolls and his fellow classmates, one of Naruto's clones saw gaara completely annihilate two teams, they found the other scroll they needed and left the extra one. Another set of clones were keeping an eye on the black haired kunoichi from the hidden sound village, Naruto had a clone dispell when they found the scroll that they needed, him and his team started jumping through the trees when they found the team. The team was from a minor village in the north, close to Kumogakure, Naruto motioned for Sasuke and Sakura to put a genjutsu up and then they would all pounce on top of them from the trees and knock them out. Both of them readied the genjutsu and activated it, the enemy thought they were being surrounded by all sorts of wild beasts, that's when the team jumped on top and knocked all three out at the same time. They found the scroll and Naruto sealed it with the other one. Sasuke and Sakura tied up the other team, while Naruto made seventy-five shadow clones, he then told the clones to split up into three teams of twenty-five and go help Shikamaru's team, Hinata's team, and then attempt to help Neji's team. The clones dispersed and Naruto turned towards Sasuke and Sakura, they both nodded for Naruto to lead, Naruto smiled and then said, let's go get rid of a few teams as well, they then walked back up into the tree and began their journey into the forest of death.
Day 2
Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura have attacked two more teams and are preparing to attack one more team to get one more scroll so if their friends haven't gotten their correct scrolls, they can give them one. Neji, Lee, and Tenten have had a hard time finding the scroll they need, they have defeated two other teams and both had the same as them, Haku and his team found their scroll on the first try, they are now looking for Naruto to see if he needs any help, Hinata, Shino, and Kiba haven't fought anyone yet because they are waiting for teams to tire themselves out and then they will strike, Kabuto and his team have been in hiding since the first hour of the start, so Naruto has no idea where they are because they are also hiding their chakra, lastly, we have Shikamaru, Ino, and Choji, Shikamaru and his team had witnessed what Gaara was capable of so they decided to steer clear of him, they found a team making camp and knocked them out with the help of Ino just making them fight eachother, she could now control two people at once if they let their minds guards down, Choji found the scroll and was excited because it was the scroll they needed, Shikamaru then told them that they now needed to find Naruto and discuss what we should do next. All the teams were getting closer to one another but were atleast a day away from eachother. When night fell, each team got some rest in a different way but slept nonetheless.
