Tam grabbed his cape and clasped it over his shoulders.
"So, I guess I know all about your progress, and I haven't made much on mine but maybe when Dex comes over, I can try to talk to him-" Tam said, about to get up.
"Hey, you said if I made progress we'd hang out for a bit longer!" Keefe frowned, grabbing Tam's wrist.
Tam rolled his eyes as he looked at Keefe.

"I meant... like get crucial information from Sophie, gain her trust more. Maybe actually be her boyfriend?" Tam shrugged.
"Not... small steps, like asking her out."
Keefe huffed.
"10 more minutes?" Keefe tilted his head at Tam, looking at him with pleading eyes.
Tam stared at Keefe.

"... Why do you like my presence all of a sudden? When we first had to hang around each other, you wished you could kill me." Tam said, sitting back down.
Keefe took his hand away from Tam's wrist.
"Hey, you wanted to get away from me as soon as possible too!" Keefe argued back.
Tam smiled and he sighed out softly, leaning back and laying down on the bed.

Keefe laid down beside Tam, turning on his side and looking at Tam's face.
Tam turned his head to face Keefe as he rested his hands over his stomach, interlocking his own fingers.

"What do you want to do with these extra 10 minutes?" Tam asked.
"Because once 10 minutes have passed, I am out of here."
Keefe shuffled closer to Tam and shrugged.
"I dunno." Keefe mumbled.
"I just like having you around."
Tam hummed, smiling as he looked up at the ceiling.

"Y'know, I think everyone at lunch noticed you got jealous when I asked Sophie out. Especially with how you acted towards her." Keefe said, staring at Tam.
"... Now everyone is going to think I like you, huh?" Tam sighed out, looking at Keefe again.
Keefe smiled.
"Yeaahh... unfortunately everyone will know of your big fat crush on me." Keefe grinned.
Tam smiled and rolled his eyes.

"Maybe I'll just leave now and-" Tam began, sitting up properly.
"Noo!" Keefe whined.
Tam looked over his shoulder at Keefe who frowned at him. Tam smiled at the Empath as he laid down again, this time on his side and facing Keefe.
"You really do like having me around, huh?" Tam questioned.

"You're one of the very few people who get me." Keefe shrugged at Tam.
"And... talking to you is really nice."
"Is Rayni another one of those few people who get you?" Tam questioned.
Keefe scrunched up his nose slightly, thinking about it
"... Not particularly. She is a great friend, a great older sister, but... I don't know..." Keefe said.
"Rayni and I are different, while... you and I are more similar. So, I guess it's different with you."
Tam hummed, nodding.

Keefe cleared his throat, feeling his mouth dry.
"Uhm... do you-do you feel the same way about me?" Keefe asked.
Tam noticed how Keefe seemed to get nervous and he smiled.
"Pfft, you're such an idiot." Tam rolled his eyes.
Keefe frowned. "What does that-?"

"Yeah, I feel the same way. Talking to you feels... calming. It's... I feel free to talk to you about whatever I'd want to talk about." Tam said, looking at Keefe.
Keefe let out a sigh of relief and Tam's smile just grew.
"Thank god, I thought I made a fool of myself." Keefe mumbled.
Tam let out a soft laugh and Keefe smiled at the sight of it.

"You always make a fool out of yourself." Tam grinned at Keefe, bringing a hand up and playfully punching Keefe in the shoulder.
Keefe huffed.
"Woww~ I really do feel the love from you." Keefe raised his eyebrows at Tam.
Tam rolled his eyes, shaking his head slightly as he sighed out.

Keefe noticed Tam's bangs sort of covered his eyes once he slightly shook his head and he brought a hand up towards Tam's hair.
Keefe gently brushed Tam's hair to the side and they locked eyes. Keefe kept his hand by Tam's hair and they just silently stared at each other.

Keefe's gaze lowered towards Tam's lips and Tam's breath hitched as he backed away.
"Yep, I should go." Tam said, clearing his throat as he sat up.
Keefe felt his cheeks warm up and he also cleared his throat.
"M-maybe that's a good idea." Keefe said.

"Uhm, good luck with the whole Dex situation thing, gaining his trust."
Keefe sat up as Tam got up from Keefe's bed.
"Yeah, uh, good luck with your date with Sophie this weekend!" Tam exclaimed, smiling nervously at Keefe.
Tam waved at Keefe before he went ahead and walked out of the room.

Keefe groaned as he laid back and stared up at the ceiling. Keefe ran his fingers through his hair and sighed.
Keefe needed to focus on Sophie, he couldn't get distracted by Tam.
Not to say that his mother was right and that Tam was a distraction, Keefe's mind just... wandered!

Keefe had to get a hold of himself soon.
