At 6:66:66 AM sharp, standing in the student council room was Gakuto who was adjusting his watch. He then took out his deck and took a deep breath.
"Daily fortune, here we go," he closed his eyes and drew the top card of his deck.
"..."
With his eyes still closed, a smile formed on Gakuto's face.
"Hello there, Yameruler the Demon Commander," he said and flipped his card over while opening his eyes to reveal his Ace.
Still got it, he thought as he remembered his foresight ability when it comes to him playing games of chance.
After doing his morning routine of jogging and doing calligraphy, he went back to the student council room where two twins, Ranze and Rinnosuke, were waiting for him.
Rinnosuke was holding onto some papers and was about to hand them to Gakuto when suddenly, Yuga burst into the room.
"Prez, I need you for a favor!" He shouted.
"Huh? What's happening all of a sudden? I have paperwork to do," Gakuto explained.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, get over here," Yuga grabbed his arm and dragged him away from the room.
"Huh?!" The twins were shocked.
(Later)
In an empty classroom, Romin was strumming her guitar when Yuga walked in while still dragging Gakuto behind him. Yusei floated beside him.
"Sorry for the wait!" Yuga called out.
"Ah Gakuto! It's good seeing you," Luke ran up to him and held a video camera to his face.
"What's going on?" Gakuto asked.
"We're making a promotional video on Rush Duels and we're going to need you to be the cameraman. Yuga and I will be dueling with Romin's vocals in the background," Luke explained.
"Now hold on a minute! You didn't say anything about me singing. I'm a guitarist so singing is a no-go for me," Romin protested.
"Huh?! Why not?" Luke asked.
Romin didn't respond but then Yuga spoke up, "how about Gakuto singing instead?"
"I refuse! And besides, the rules state that singing on your own is prohibited and the only thing that we're allowed to sing is the school anthem," Gakuto explained.
"Is that really a rule?" Yusei asked and Yuga sweatdropped.
I wouldn't be surprised, he thought.
"Well sing it then," Luke shrugged and Yuga asked, "wait how does it go again?"
"You don't know it?!" Gakuto gasped.
"Why don't you sing to demonstrate it?" Yuga suggested and Gakuto just sighed at this.
"Fine *ahem*," he cleared his throat first and stood up tall.
He started to sing something about Goha Elementary #7 and glory and all that but his singing was off and his voice was getting higher and higher unnaturally.
Everyone cringed with mild discomfort on their faces, even Yusei and Kaizo were affected.
"Is this even a song?" Luke asked with Kaizo adding on, "he's tone deaf!"
