Amelia Hall escapes her old club Manchester City, where her ex girlfriend Lauren hemp is, and joins her life long dream team Arsenal. Theres only one problem, a certain Irish enemy is there.
About an hour ago I gave Katie my address, she said she'd be 20 minutes. It's now been 67. I sit down on my sofa and hum to myself whilst scrolling through instagram hoping she does actually turn up and I haven't been stood up.
That's when the door knocks, I get up and walk over before opening it.
There stood the beautiful Irish with a shy smile planted on her face. I smile back.
"You look great" she says whilst moving out the way so I can shut the door
"So do you McCabe" I reply walking to her car
We sit down on the black BMW and shut the doors, I fasten my seatbelt and lean back into the smooth leather seat.
She turns on the engine and begins the drive to the small cozy pub we were going to, she said the food there was really nice.
"Sorry for being late" she says whilst bitting her lip, concentrating on the road
"It's fine" I smile watching her
"In all honestly I got lost" she admits and I start laughing
"Why didn't you text or call?"
"I was not going to embarrass myself like that Amelia, no chance" she smiles whilst shaking her head "I don't even know why I said it just now"
Dinner:
She soon parks up and we get out, walking next to one another into the pub. We sit at a corner table and read the menus, it goes silent whilst doing so.
I order an apple juice and Chicken salad, the healthy option.
Katie on the other hand orders a pizza and a beer
Once the waiter leaves we start talking about all kinds of things; holidays, family, dream pets. I found out her little sister Lauryn was set to join arsenal, she was one year older than mine so I said we should introduce them to one another.
"Lauryn would love that I reckon, she's going to feel strange when she joins so it'd be nice for her to have a friend" Katie explains
"I'll ask Lily about the idea when I get home" I assure her
Soon after our food came out and hers was.. massive to say the least. Mine was normal sized so I wouldn't get too full.
We dig in, the table goes silent as we do so.
Occasionally she'd say "what's yours like?" And I'd just smile and nod.
After dinner was finished, I went to get my card out of my jacket pocket to pay.
"What are you doing?" She asks confused holding hers
"Getting my card to pay..?" I reply looking into her big eyes
"No, you're not, I'm paying" she tells me before tapping her card on the machine
"I could've you know?"
"I know but it just gives you an excuse to take me on another date" she shrugs taking the receipt and putting her card away.
We both stand up and tuck our chairs back in before walking out the cafe and to a bench near the car, we sit down looking at the gorgeous view in front of us.

A while later it was 9:30pm and although we had a rest day tomorrow we didn't feel like staying out any longer.
We walked back to her large car and sat inside, did our belts and she soon drove off back to my house.
The drive was calm thankfully, there was no traffic and so we got back to mine in 15 minutes.
"Thanks for today Katie, I loved it" I smile before unbuckling my belt
She smiles back whilst looking at my lips, slowly our heads move closer like magnets until there is a small gap between our mouths.
Then, she closes the gap entwining our lips together gently, the kiss doesn't last long but it was the best I've had.
"See you soon Amelia" she grins once more
"Bye Katie" I say getting out the car and shutting it, then I wave goodbye and she waves it back before driving off
