JISUNG'S POV:
I look in confusion as Minho hangs up the call in a hurry. The video continues playing and I gush over how cute Minho looked while giving commentary on what he was making. Until...
Hyunjin appears out of nowhere.
And he kisses him??? On the lips???
My eyes fly open at the sudden revelation. This doesn't make sense. It can't be, right?
Back on the screen, they were getting a little too comfy with each other. "Babe, the camera is still on," Minho says, followed by Hyunjin smirking and turning off the camera.
It stings. Like a bitch. I don't even notice the tears forming in my eyes, threatening to spill. The doors suddenly slide open, revealing a panting Minho. I get up and leave the room but he follows me.
"What?" I turn and ask him, desperately trying to get rid of the tears that were pooling in my eyes.
"It's not what you think it is! I can explain," he says in panic, and I scoff. "What's there to explain? It was all in the video."
"No that was-"
"How could you do that to Hyunjin? How could you do that to me?" I say, folding my hands. The truth of this question, though I don't want to admit it, is that I am being selfish. Am I angry at the fact that Minho is two timing and technically cheating on Hyunjin even though we're not actually dating, or am I just jealous that he has someone else who's not me?
"Ji, please. Allow me to explain," he says while holding my hand, and I hate how I melt at the nickname. "That video is from long ago, during freshman year. I swear there's nothing going on between us anymore. We broke up before college got over. I don't even know why it's there."
I think for a while. He did seem pretty genuine about it and I really wanted to trust him on this one. "Really?" I ask him. He nods affirmative with an eagerness that showed he wasn't lying. I decide to take a leap of faith and believe him.
"Lover's spat going on in here?" Changbin says with a snicker, walking in with a cup of iced americano. I roll my eyes.
"Where's Felix? He didn't show up today," I think out loud. Just then, said guy walks into the office with much difficulty.
"Did you walk into a pole or something? What's wrong with your legs?" I ask. He bites his lips and remains silent, and Changbin gets the gist of it.
"That's not the walk of a man who ran into a pole, that's the walk of a man who got railed!" He victoriously points out. Felix' eyes go wide, immediately shushing Changbin because of his loud ass voice. "Th-that's not true!" He defends himself.
"Sure," Minho says. "You never wear turtlenecks. That is, unless you're hiding something." He pulls down the neck part of the turtleneck to find it littered with purple marks. We gasp in unison. Minho was freakishly accurate about this.
"What the hell, I was just joking! Who was it?" Changbin exclaims. I too shake my head in disbelief. I mean, the last thing I'd expect to do after getting attacked would definitely not be getting fucked.
Felix hides behind me, too shy to show his face. "Come on," I say, encouraging him.
"Uhh okay so you'll probably not believe it but...it's Hyunjin," Felix reveals timidly, and Changbin snorts out americano. Minho gasps, mirroring my action.
"No fucking way," Minho says. "I didn't even know he built up the courage to talk to you, let alone sleep together." I look at him in confusion. "Build up the courage?" I ask him in a whisper.
"He's head over heels for Felix. I thought you knew about them seeing each other?" He whispers back. I didn't know about them meeting up, but it still made me feel stupid about the video.
"Anyways, topic change!" Felix hurriedly says.
"Your limp is not allowing me to," Changbin says, folding his arms and rolling his eyes. Felix pouts, hiding behind Minho. He stands with his hands on his hips looking ready to defend Felix, which was a remarkable sight since he's never been fond of him. Changbin takes one step closer and Minho immediately takes cover behind me.
"He's not going to eat you. Grow up Minho," I say, pushing him aside.
"Looks are deceiving!"

It was finally Friday, the last working day of the week! I decided to work for only the first half of the day since I wanted to treat Yunjin and Chaewon to a surprise Girl's Day. It had been ages since the three of us went out having fun together and before you ask, no— it's not my fault that most of my friends are children. I blame it all on Yunjin.
"Minho," I whisper-yell at the said person, trying to get his attention. He hums in reply, his eyes trained on his laptop screen.
"Do you wanna get off work before lunch?" I ask him with hope in my eyes. He looks at me doubtfully, his right eyebrow shooting up. I scoot a bit closer and continue whispering, as though we were discussing some government secret.
"It's girl's day today, and I was thinking it'd be fun if you joined us!"
He blinks twice, giving me a look that said 'are you serious' before turning back to his screen. I walk up to his desk which stood opposite mine, and sit on my knees in front of him, trying not to get caught loitering around when I'm supposed to be working.
"Come on, don't be like that!" I whine, well aware of how annoying I sounded. He sighs.
"Firstly, what even is this girl's day?" he asks with a look of genuine confusion plastered on his face. "Secondly, if this really is for girls, what the hell are we both doing there?" I chuckle.
"Girl's day is this sort of tradition we have," I start explaining, "'We' meaning me, Yunjin, which is my sister, and Chaewon, which is her best friend. And also my friend," I whisper the last part, feeling slightly embarassed.
"Well, in simple terms it's them taking advantage of my salary to go all out shopping, eating in fancy restaurants and do all their hot girl shit once in a while, but that's okay because I love them." I see the corners of Minho's lips tugging upwards, forming a smile that almost reached his eyes. It was an adorable sight.
"What? Why are you smiling so much?" I ask him and he chuckles.
"You just sound like a really cool brother. I'm sure they love you a lot," he tells me.
"Hah, I wish! Kids these days are so ungrateful, I swear to God! They're just taking advantage of my love for them and I keep falling for their trap even though-" I was silenced mid-rant by Minho, who placed a kiss on my forehead. I look at him with my eyes wide open.
"Shut up," he says, smile still plastered on his face, "stop being so cute."
When I tell you I melted right there-
"Stop that!" I whine and cover my face in embarrassment. I could already feel my ears becoming red, I just hope he doesn't notice.
"Guys, stop romancing in the office. There are single people here too, you know?" Jeno tells us and I roll my eyes. If only he knew.
"So? Will you come?" I look at Minho expectantly, my knees still on the ground. Why can't I just stand and converse like a normal person ?
He playfully pretends to think for a bit, letting his index finger rest on his chin. I slap his hand away.
"Come on, pleaseeeeeee? Pretty pleaseeeeee?" I beg him, giving him my best puppy eyes. I've been able to floor the oldies with this trick, Minho shouldn't be too much of a challenge.
I see him soften up and nod affirmative. I smirk in victory. You've still got it, Han Jisung!
He ruffles my hair before turning back to his laptop. I start blushing again.
I need to keep my hormones in check, goddamnit!
