JISUNG'S POV:
"I could be your boyfriend!"
"One more idiotic suggestion from that mouth of yours and I will personally make sure that my fist comes in contact with your face," I shoot back at Minho.
"What? I'm just a man who wants to take responsibility for his actions! Is that so wrong?" Minho bats his eyelashes innocently.
"Oh please, shut up. I'd rather date Felix than your stinky ass," I reply. "Lix, what do you say about you and I being the next revolutionary, groundbreaking couple?"
Felix smiles, a blush creeping up his cheeks. "Sounds fun, I like it."
I look back at Minho and smirk. "See? Problem solved."
Minho rolls his eyes. "First of all, for clarification, my ass is NOT stinky. You can see it for yourself," he says as he keeps one hand on his hips. Changbin, Felix and I collectively choke on our drinks.
"I think I'll agree with what Jisung said earlier, you really should just keep your mouth shut and move on with your day," Changbin remarks.
"Hey! I was just defending myself, okay? Not that I was actually gonna let y'all have a piece of this pizazz," Minho says proudly while, indeed, pointing at his ass.
"This is the guy who wants to be your boyfriend," Changbin snickers. I roll my eyes.
"Shut up!" Minho yells at him defensively, although we all saw him shake as he did so. We know better than anyone else how easily Minho gets intimidated by Changbin. "I was just offering a better option. I have reasons as to why I would make a better, more believable boyfriend than Felix."
"Okay then. Let's hear it, mister. Not that I'll actually consider you or anything, but go on," I prompt him to convince me.
MINHO'S POV:
"Okay, then. Let's hear it. Not that I'll actually consider you or anything, but go on." Jisung's words kind of stung me, but I wanted to prove why I clearly was a more worthy opponent than Felix. From how Felix looks at him, I know for sure he has feelings for Jisung too, which is exactly why I can't blow up this chance.
"Okay, reason number one? I bet your parents won't buy your act with Felix, even though I don't really know them. You guys have been best friends for long, there's no way you would NOT have told at least one person in your family how you feel." Jisung nods his head as he listens intently.
"Secondly, your parents already saw me as your boyfriend last week, it won't be that hard to convince them you were lying about our relationship after I left. Besides, they seemed to really like me." I smirk and Jisung rolls his eyes.
"And again, both of you would have to go great lengths to persuade your parents that you guys are actually in a relationship since Felix is naturally very physically affectionate. Like, he gives everyone in the office hugs because he wants us to feel loved, me included," I say matter-of-fact-ly with false confidence.
"So if you really want to get the job done, you'll have to do more than just hugs," I conclude, internally cringing at the thought of Felix and Jisung being physically intimate with each other. Jisung pauses for a moment before he speaks again.
"Ugh, I can't believe this! Why are you so good at persuasion?" He groans, pulling his hair in frustration. I smile victoriously.
"Do I take that as a yes, baby?" I nudge him to give me an answer, wriggling my eyebrows at him. I was clearly annoying him, but I couldn't just immediately drop my act now, could I?
"Fuck off, give me some time to think."
I laugh and finally leave him alone, pretty content with myself. Jisung looked like he was going through an internal crisis, and from the corner of my eye, I also notice that Felix looked hurt.
I shrug, avoiding eye contact with either of them. I don't want to be the bad guy, but at the same time we both like Jisung. At the end of the day, it's Jisung who chooses between the two of us.
JISUNG'S POV:
"I can't believe him, how can he just show up out of nowhere and give unsolicited advice to you like that?" Felix scoffs, right after we see that Minho is out of earshot. Now, this wasn't a normal, day-to-day occurrence. Felix is a literal ANGEL, and if you make him mad then it means you really messed up.
"I agree, but at the same time he put some pretty convincing points out there. I hate that I want to choose him," I reply, running my hands through my hair in frustration. Felix sighs.
"Hey, don't stress about it too much. It's just a little show you're putting on for your parents. Just pick whoever you think might serve your purpose easily and move on," Changbin advises me and I nod my head.
He was right. Why am I wasting so much energy on this when I can save it for when I play Just Dance later?
"Well, it's your call," Felix says and I sigh. As much as my pride didn't want me to choose Minho, I thought he was my best option for now. It's not like I had that much time before I got busy with the Ryujin project, let alone the Hyunjin one. I can't save this problem for later.
"I guess... I'll stick with Minho."
CHANGBIN'S POV:
I could see how Felix's heart sunk at Jisung's words. Poor boy. When he got this one shining opportunity to experience a little something with Jisung, Minho stole it from him. I didn't know what to conclude from Minho's actions, so I thought i'll have a little chat with him after Jisung tells him his final decision.
"Well... that's settled now. Let's get back to work," I say in hopes of distracting Felix from his thoughts.
JISUNG'S POV:
I might've looked busy with work on the outside, but Minho kept my thoughts occupied the entire day. I obviously had to let him know that I chose him, but at the same time I didn't want to do it. It hurt my big, fat ego, but I knew I had to get it done with.
I enter the restroom to wash my hands, when I hear the creak of a door behind me, revealing Minho. I roll my eyes. I didn't expect to see him here.
"So I take it you've made a decision?" He smirks.
"Shut up, don't get too cocky."
