As the Smiling Critters all fell asleep, Frowny Fox was having a harder time. Catnap who was a very light sleeper looked over to Frowny Fox as he twist and turned on the floor. Catnap tilts his head a bit confused before he got up and snuck over to the fox. "Hey Frowny" gently shaking the fox Catnap attempts to wake him up as gently as possible, without frightening him. "Hey, wake up, I know you aren't asleep" Catnap said as Frowny opened his eyes looking up at the smiling purple cat. "Did I wake you up..?" he asks a bit scared. 'Yes' thought Catnap but he just smiled and replied with "no, I was already awake, just thought you might want to join me for jasmine tea?" he offers as Frowny looks at him confused. "Dogday usually has morning teas, not really many night time or calming drinks since he's mainly an early bird.. dog" laughs Catnap quietly as Frowny Fox nods in understanding before getting up and following Catnap towards the kitchen. "So, you guys have always had your own lives outside of the school?" he asks as Catnap grabs two mugs, and fills them with water. "Yeah, why wouldn't we?" he asks turning to look at the fox as he seems nervous. "I was just curious since I never really get to see you guys after school, we mostly spend our time in Home Sweet Home, or the pool, we somehow the pool was closed down so we've all spent our time in Home Sweet Home" explains Frowny as Catnap listens, and nods his head in understanding. "We don't blame you honestly, it is weird to think about how mascots like us could have our own little lives in a place like this, but you'll get used to it eventually" Catnap said leaning on the counter watching the microwave. "Yeah, but it is a bit weird.. I almost went with the others to Home Sweet Home" Frowny laughs at his own words but Catnap frowns at him. "What?" he asks as Catnap sighs "it's nothing, just.. make sure when you're around the kids you don't give away that you fully know them, you got to act like you've never met them before, that's why you're in a whole new classroom, everyone thought it wouldn't be as hard as if you had to look at your own classmates again" Catnap explains as Frowny Fox looks ready to cry. "What's wrong?" Catnap asks a bit worried as Frowny waves his concern off "it's nothing, I'm just happy that you all are so nice to me.. unlike in the cartoon" he whispers the last part but Catnap still hears it, he just doesn't comment only smiling towards the fox as he sets the mug full of tea in front of him. "Thank you for the tea" Frowny says as he sips it allowing his whole body to warm up with the sensation of jasmine tea. Catnap's purrs fill the kitchen as they drink in silence.
