Faith is looking through textbooks about monsters that look like the monster that they are currently dealing with. Henrik appears, "Hey, Faith," he says. "Hey, Uncle Henrik," Faith replies. "I need you to do something really quickly," Henrik says. "I'm kind of busy, dealing with the monster on campus," Faith says. "It's about Finn," Henrik says. "What about Finn," Faith asks. "He needs to be seen by a group of people," Henrik says. "Our parents," Faith asks. "No," Henrik says. "Another group of people," Henrik says. Faith nods, "Okay," she concedes. Faith uses her magic and makes Finn visible wherever he is.
"No questions asked," Rebekah says. "Uncle Finn jumped into Hope's head with no questions asked," Faith replies. The blonde Original nods, agreeing with her daughters statement.
Before Dorian can begin research, Alaric walks into the room. "Hey, Ric," Dorian greets. "What are you doing here," Dorian asks. "I need to talk to Josie," Alaric says. Dorian nods, "Well, it might be your lucky day," Dorian says. "What do you mean," Alaric asks. "I had a teacher call in sick this morning. I need a substitute," Dorian says. "Well...my human history's a...a little rusty, but..." Alaric says. Dorian chuckles, "Who said it was history class?" Dorian says.
Out in the field of the high school, Alaric blows a whistle to attract the attention of the gym class. "All right. Let's, um, stretch the ham...hammies," Alaric says. Josie glares at MG, "Paranoid, huh?" Josie says. "Your dad has questionable timing and extremely questionable taste in athletic apparel," MG says. "But h-he's not..." MG begins. "A total spy?" Josie demands. "That's fine. He can spy all he wants if there's nothing for him to see," MG says, making the witch give him a look. "So no using vamp speed or strength to impress Tori-Crop-Top-Thompson with your soccer skills," Josie demands. "Promise?" she asks, hitting him in the stomach. The vampire grunts softly, reverting his attention to the dark haired Saltzman. "Stop looking," Josie demands. "It's really hard. Okay," MG says. "Stop looking," Josie demands.
"I hate to be a debby downer," Caroline says. "But his last relationship with a human did not work," Bonnie adds. "Exactly," Caroline says.
Hope and Faith are sitting in the library as Landon attempts to bore them to death. "Too short," Faith says, and Landon changes the card. "Too green," Hope says and Landon changes the card again. "That's a lawn ornament," Faith says. "This is pointless," Hope adds. "No, it's a process. There are literally thousands of wee folk in mythology. We just have to figure out what this one is," Landon says. "Now we need to figure out about this current adorable little monster..." Landon says. "Good morning, Stallions. This is The Salvatore School Monster Warning Service. There's yet another monster on the loose, but more on that later. Because the true threat to all our lives is Hope Mikaelson. And not just 'cause she has scabies," Lizzie's voice says over the P.A. system. In the Headmistress's office, the monster laughs manically. Hope gives Faith a look, "I am pretty sure that, Grace has Lizzie busy," Hope says. "Which means," Faith adds. "That the monster can manipulate his voice," Hope says.
"Is he boring you to death," Kol asks. "Didn't you know," Faith asks. "That's like the only thing that can kill you other than a dagger," Hope adds.
The gym class has transitioned to jumping jacks, "Gotta go easy on that arm. Oh, that's right, I need to. Unless you need a Band-Aid for that cut, QB None," a human says. "Oh, knock it off, Blake. We can't all go 12 seasons without taking a snap like you," Ethan says. "It's only been three," Blake says. "Who am I to question your math?" Ethan says. "Yeah, go ahead, bail. Like you bailed on your family," Blake says. "Worked out great," Blake says. Ethan punches Blake and the football player punches back. "Whoa, whoa, whoa! Break it up, break it up," Alaric says, getting in between the two boys. "Break it up, break it up. Break it up," he says. "All right, everyone go take a couple laps around the school," Alaric says. "Go!" he demands. "Not you," Alaric says to Ethan. "Go pick up some of those cones and cool off," Alaric says. Ethan kicks a soccer ball into the road. "After you go pick that up," Alaric adds. "Go on, move," he demands. "What was that about?" Josie asks, acting innocently. "I don't know, you tell me," Alaric says. "I don't know. Everything's fine here. Better than fine, actually," Josie says. "It's perfect," she adds. "Huh. Well, it doesn't seem that way to me," Alaric says. "Ethan got cut from the football team and he's messed up about it," MG says. A truck horn blares and it catches the group's attention. The horn continues to blare as it barrels towards Ethan. The vampire makes a quick decision and moves to save Ethan. "Holy crap. How did you just move that fast?" Ethan asks.
"You just exposed yourself," Elena says. "He won't remember," Lizzie says. "Ish," Josie adds.
Unknown Location
Finn appears in a second and immediately gets a shadow in the form of Henrik standing behind him. "Which one," Henrik asks. "That one," he says, pointing to a scientist secluded from the rest. "Why," Henrik asks. "I have been watching them since we found out that she was missing," Finn says. "He is the weak link in the group," Finn adds. Henrik nods, "I'll be here," Henrik says. In a blur, Finn grabs the scientist and throws him against a wall in a secluded room, "We need to talk," the oldest Original says.
"Is the she, mine," Rebekah asks. "You mean the person you gave blood too and then she jumped out a window," Henrik asks. Rebekah glares at her younger brother but nods. "Yes," Finn says.
Mystic Falls
Lizzie and Grace comes into the school, "I cannot believe you," Hope says with a smirk. "Scabies?" she asks. "I have no idea what you're talking about," Lizzie says. "I was too busy washing the chlorine out of my hair," Lizzie says. Faith looks at Grace, "I was helping," Grace says. "Yeah, we know," Hope says. "We heard your voice, we think that the monster can manipulate its voice," Hope says. "Lovely," Grace says. "It could not get worse," the dark haired Mikaelson says. "Sounds like I'm here right on time," Kaleb says coming up to them with something in his hand. "Critter was just in Doc's office," Kaleb says. "God, you will do anything to suck up to Cleo," Lizzie says. "Killing monsters does not impress me," Cleo says, walking up and stopping by the group. "No, he didn't kill it," Hope says. "It's molting. What kind of creature does that?" Grace asks. "Butterflies? Frogs?" Lizzie says. "Gremlins. Oh, it is definitely a gremlin," Landon says. "Oh, awesome. Finally," the phoenix says. "I mean, I mean..." Landon begins. "I don't get it. How does something so cute become this?" Lizzie asks, showing the book. "Duh. Feeding them after midnight," Landon says. Grace gives him a look, "Okay, nerd that down for regular people," Grace says. "Oh, come on. You've never seen..." he asks. "Disrespect. Says it right here, nerd," Kaleb says. "That's what gremlins feed on," Kaleb says. "Okay, well, then the movie..." Landon begins. He looks up when he gets looks. "Which you all still should have seen..." he adds. "Obviously took some artistic license," Landon finishes. "Perhaps it is pitting the two of you against one another," Cleo says, gesturing between Grace and Landon. "No, I just hate his existence," Grace says. "Okay, you've been feeding it an all-you-can-eat buffet," Hope says. "The stronger it gets, the more dangerous it is," Faith says. "For Landon, right?" Cleo asks. "Wait, that's it," Grace says, looking at the phoenix. "If we want to trap this thing, we have the perfect bait," the dark haired Mikaelson says. "Grace," Faith warns. "Using me as bait is a great idea," Landon says. Grace looks at her cousins, "He does know, that I meant, temporarily dead bait, right," Grace asks. "I mean, if Malivore wants me, like always, then the gremlin has no choice but to come for me, right?" Landon asks, ignoring the dark haired Mikaelson. "And we'll be waiting when it does," Hope says.
"Dead bait," Kol asks. "Oh, come on," Grace says. "Golden arrows, poisonous blood," Grace says. "When you guys were here, you guys gave me some pointers," Grace adds.
