EHMEL!!
Just then, my phone vibrated, breaking me out of my thoughts. I wiped away my tears and looked at my phone to see a text from Salar. A huge smile spread across my face as I read his message.
"Hey beautiful, do you want to go for a walk?" he had texted. My face turned red as I read his message.
"Yes, sure. I'm coming," I replied to his message, my heart racing with excitement.
I quickly got out of bed and made my way to the mirror. I wanted to make sure I looked presentable before I met Salar. After fixing my hair and making sure I looked good, I headed downstairs.
As I made my way to the garden, where we had planned to meet, I saw Salar standing there, looking as perfect as ever. He was wearing black jeans and a black shirt with a denim jacket, his hair perfectly styled, and he had a faint smile on his face. As I got closer, he waved at me, I couldn't help but feel my face turn red with a smile.
"Hey Salar," I shyly greeted him as I approached. "Thanks for coming, Ehmel," Salar replied with a warm smile. I shyly nodded, unable to form any words. I was nervous and excited at the same time.
We started walking and I couldn't help but feel a sense of calm in Salar's presence. The atmosphere was serene as we strolled through the garden, taking in the beauty of our surroundings.
"You know, Salar, I always thought you were an arrogant guy," I blurted out suddenly, breaking the comfortable silence between us.
He raised his eyebrows at me, clearly surprised by my statement.
"But you're such an amazing guy," I added, looking at him with a genuine smile.
"Oh, I'm feeling shy now," Salar teasingly said, making me laugh.
We continued walking in silence, enjoying each other's company the silence was comfortable, and I felt a sense of security being with him. He looked breathtakingly handsome, with his tall frame and dark hair. I couldn't believe that I was lucky enough to be spending this moment with him.
He caught me staring and smiled back, making my heart skip a beat. "Your future husband will be very lucky to have you," he suddenly said, breaking the silence. I was taken aback by his words,
My face turning red from shyness. I had
never been good at accepting compliments, especially from someone I have secret feelings for. I tried to brush it off, "It's nothing like that, Salar," I said, trying to ignore his gaze. But he didn't seem to want to drop the topic. We walked a little further and then sat down on a bench. The coolness of the night air was starting to get to me and I was shivering with cold, but I didn't want to ruin the beautiful moment we were having. However, Salar noticed and immediately took off his jacket.
"Here, take it. You'll catch a cold," he said, holding out the jacket to me.
I tried to refuse, not wanting to inconvenience him, but he insisted. "No-no, I'm fine," I said hesitantly.
"Fine? Yeah, I can see that you're fine," he chuckled, seeing right through my act.
He then put his jacket on my shoulders, and our hands lightly brushed against each other. In that moment, I felt a spark, an electricity running through my body.
I could feel my heart racing, and I knew he felt the same way. We both smiled at each other, our eyes locked in an unspoken understanding. It was a moment I would never forget.
Just then a sudden question popped in my mind. "Salar, can I ask you something?" I said, breaking the calmness.
"Sure, what do you want to know?" he replied, turning to look at me with a curious expression.
I hesitated for a moment before finally blurting out, "Do you like Hala?" I hoped deep down that he would say no
"What? Do I like Hala? No way, not in a million ways. I can't stand her, he said with annoyance evident in his voice.
I couldn't hide the happiness in my eyes as I heard his words. "But she really likes you," I said, feeling a tinge of sadness but unable to keep it to myself any longer.
"What are you trying to say, Ehmel?" Salar's voice was laced with annoyance as he asked the question.
"You both spent your childhood together. Maybe there will be something between you guys in the future," I said, sadness creeping into my eyes.
"Sometimes, I really don't understand you, Ehmel," Salar said, shaking his head in disbelief.
"There's only one girl I like and you know that,"he added, shutting down any further conversation on the topic.
As Salar's words sank in, I was left speechless. My heart was beating so fast, and I couldn't find the right words to say. "Was he talking about me?" I thought to myself, unable to believe what I had just heard.
Trying to break the awkward silence, I changed the subject. "Salar, look at the sky. It's so beautiful," I said while gazing at the stars. "Just like you," Salar replied with a smile. My heart skipped a beat, and I couldn't help but blush.
Salar's compliment caught me off guard, and I didn't know how to respond. "Just look at the sky, Salar," I said, trying to hide my emotions. As I looked at him, he was still smiling while admiring the stars above.
Just then, a shooting star appeared in the sky. "Oh, look at the shooting star!" I exclaimed, filled with excitement. "Make a wish," I added, hoping Salar would join in.
"What wish but..." Salar said, his eyes fixed on the star. "Salar," I said, giving him my best puppy eyes. He chuckled and then nodded, looking back at the sky.
As we both closed our eyes and made a wish, I couldn't help but think about what I wanted. "Dear Allah, please make him mine, and keep him always happy." I prayed, tears welling up in my eyes.
As the shooting star disappeared, I opened my eyes to see Salar looking at me with a smile. We both knew what we had wished for, and it was a special moment that we shared together.
