Vesper POV

A bright winter day greeted the hybrid when she woke up. She rolled out of bed and quickly got dressed, pulling on a red hoodie that matched her wings and black sweatpants. A knock on the door interrupted her as she was tying her sneakers. Opening the door, Churro was leaning up against the opposite wall. "You ready?"

"I am. I don't know where Swift and Pancake went though," she said, retreating to grab her bag. "They went to get an early breakfast and said they'd meet us in the registration line," Churro informed her. The two went down to the buffet and ate a quick breakfast, then caught the bus over to the convention center.

The lines were already long, but luckily Churro had told Swift to bring one of her sword props so the two girls were easy to find. They wove their way through the line and Vesper managed to grab hold of Swift's backpack before the line moved again.

"How close are we to getting in," Vesper asked, pulling Churro behind her so he wouldn't get lost. "I'd say about 10 minutes," Swift replied. "We're in this line because we need to get our badges since we ordered them after the time they said they'd ship them to us." She pointed to one of the other lines and said, "Zud's probably in that one, the Creator line."

They moved quickly into the center and got to the front of the line. Vesper pulled her phone out and showed the lady the receipt. She pulled out four badges and handed them to Vesper. Vesper beckoned them out of the line and off to the side so she could hand them out. "I got the Content Creator badge because it was the only badge where I had an option of different names," she said, handing one to each of her friends.

Vesper's was red and black, with a sharp design. Churro's was yellow and black with swirls on the lanyard. Swifts was blue and black with hints of red, and Pancakes was green and yellow.

"I mean, we are content creators, we just haven't been to this convention before," Pancake murmured, looking at her badge. "Cmon, let's get into a less populated area before we talk to the gang."

The four made their way through security and found the nearest empty room. "You guys are good, no one's here," Vesper said, checking her watch. "Not for another hour at least." The four ghosts materialized and leaned against the wall. "This is interesting," Henwy grinned. "Three of us aren't supposed to be here, yet we are." "That's cause we can go invisible Henwy," Biffle laughed.

Swift turned to Sigils. "You've been here a few times with Zud, right? What's his pattern?" Sigils was quiet for a moment. "He goes to creator panels in the morning with friends, he usually avoids conversations with fans because there's creator stuff he has to do. He'll get lunch, then he likes to hang out in the Creator's Lounge for a couple of hours. After about 3 o'clock he'll roam the floor and say hi to fans and all that until it closes for the night." He paused for a moment. "That's what he did on Friday the last few times I was with him."

"Well, it's almost 11 now, so let's say we hit a couple panels and grab some food. Then we can go from there." Vesper looked at everyone else. "That sounds good to me," Pancake replied. The ghosts dematerialized and the group headed back out onto the floor.

They spent the next few hours enjoying panels, shopping, and trying out random snacks. They left the convention center to get some food, and returned shortly after.

Vesper stopped by the help desk to ask where the Creators Lounge was, and they made their way to the room. The group flashed their badges to security outside and they were let through to doors. Swift pointed to the back corner, where there was an empty patch of bean bag chairs. The group flopped down, letting out sighs of relief at not having to stand anymore.

"I haven't been to a convention in years," Vesper groaned, rubbing her shins. "I forgot how much standing and walking around was involved." Pancake started laughing and Vesper gave her a playful glare. Churro was curled into a ball on the chair and Swift was rubbing her shoulders where the backpack had been.

Pancake made sure that no one was looking in their direction before whispering, "Sigils, gang, you should be good to appear for a bit." The four rematerialized again, making sure to sit on the floor so they would be more out of view. They quickly looked around, Sigils pointed to a far corner. "There he is."

Zud was in the corner with a couple other draconics. He was wearing a tan hoodie, light blue jeans, black sneakers, and a gray baseball cap over his curly brown hair, which was backwards. He sported large purple wings, a whip-like tail, and small spiral horns that seemed to be attached to his hat rather than his head. Glasses hung from a chain around his neck.

He glanced at them and they quickly looked away as if they were figuring out who everyone else in the room was. "To be fair, I haven't watched anything Ssundee Crew related in a bit," Swift admitted. "He's changed enough for me to not recognize him immediately." "I kept up with most of the people," Vesper said. "It was just hard seeing them adapt to recording without you guys." She gestured at the Regulars sitting in front of her. Henwy had a sad smile on his face.

Pancake eyed Zud. "He looks pretty deep in conversation and there are a couple other creators waiting nearby. I think we'll have to wait a little longer before any of us can get to him." Nico and Churro nodded in agreement. "I have snacks if anyone needs them, by the way," Pancake added, holding out a ziplock bag full of granola bars and fruit snacks. Swift and Churro took some and started snacking.

"The question is, how are we going to do this," Vesper asked. "Should I go wait for him or should we wait for him to be done and catch him on his way out? What are we thinking guys?" They sat in silence for a little bit. "All of the options sound bad, to be honest," Swift sighed. "There's no way we could get him by himself without him being suspicious of what we're trying to do and if the Regulars go over there by themselves he might think he's having a PTSD attack."

"Well he's starting to talk to other people now, what if I just went over there and told him that I'm a fan and that my friends have got something for him." Vesper looked at everyone else. "I like that," Henwy said. "As long as he can stay quiet then that should work." "Sounds good to me," Biffle added.

"Alright then, I'll be back with Mr. Zud the Bud himself."

Vesper stood up, took a deep breath, and approached the man that had led her to where she was now.

A/N: There are like four chapters with Vesper's POV I'm so sorry but now that I'm to the point where they're finding the rest of the Irregulars/Ssundee Crew I'll be able to fluctuate more. I'm also starting to write longer chapters again so I hope you're enjoying that too.
