My eyes snap to his, "What?" My heart melts, he went out of his way to ask Alek to see me. But there was one thing though, I'm not supposed to see him for another week. I'm fully healed. As soon as Alek sees me he's going to realize I'm fully healed. Were going to get caught.

He nods at me, "He said he would."

"But, he's going to notice." I whisper, referring to my ribs.

"I have that covered." He assures me softly, spiking my curiosity. What's that supposed to mean?

"Are you going to kill him?"

He smirked, "No, Princess."

My heart melts at the nickname. Whatever feelings he had the other night were gone. He watched me with a soft expression that made me forget the rest of the world existed.

He nods towards my room. "Go finish getting ready and we can go see him."

"Okay." I went to turn away from him but stopped, "Thank you."

"For what?" He asks, tilting his head slightly.

"For getting Alek to see me today." I answered him. "It means a lot." It means everything.

"I know how much it means to you." He replies softly. "Now go get ready."

"Good morning, how are you?" Alek smiles as we walk in the same medical room I had woken up in almost four weeks ago. A bed was in the middle of the room under a big round light. Some supplies laid on the counter, a cart with bandages was pushed against the side of the bed.

"I'm okay." I answered him, my voice shaking slightly. Xander noticed, calming me down with his powers as he helped me sit on the bed to play off that I was still hurt. I didn't quite mind the help though. I've started to notice that I crave his touch, even something small like helping me sit on the bed was enough to send my pulse through the roof.

I don't understand the pull I have towards him. It's not healthy to want someone the way I want him. He takes up all my thoughts. My body craves his touch, and the safe feeling he gives me.

"How's your pain?" Alek asks, pulling me from my thoughts. He steps to the counter to put gloves on.

"Manageable." I answer him, my heart was racing. There was no way he wasn't going to notice. I wasn't limping, didn't have a hard time breathing. He watched me walk in here perfectly fine.

"Pain meds working?" He asks, turning to face me.

"Yes." I gave him a one word answer again. To say I'm nervous right now is an understatement. I know Xander says Alek won't find out but I'm not sure how he's going to explain this.

"That's good." He smiles, stepping closer, "Alright, let's take a look at your side."

My eyes land on Xander for a moment. He wasn't looking at me though, his gaze was glued on Alek. Focused.

I lift my shirt and Alek started to unwrap the wrap from around me.

I hold my breath as he took it off, inspecting my side closely. He places his hand to my side for a moment. I acted as if it hurt and winced slightly.
