Babysitting ⤵
''Lift me up. I can't see!''
''I'm not Dad. And you're not five.''
''I can still ride the Triceratops. I'm 47-and-a-half inches.''
''This place is for little kids.''
If I had known that I'd be babysitting Claire's nephews, along with a grown-ass woman who can't get off the phone, I would've instantly declined and said I had better things to do. Things that include the dinosaurs and their wellbeing.
The kids weren't too bad. They were both some years apart, and even though they happened to argue every now and then, they both loved each other. Even if it was deep... deep down. The only issue happened to be the raven-haired woman, Zara.
From her obnoxiously loud phonecalls, I could determine what she was chatting about on the phone. A wedding, and the chaos of a Bachelor party. Whoever was on the other side of the phone was getting married, and Zara happened to be the planner. Or so I thought. God bless whoever happens to marry that woman.
I turned away for a moment, taking in the view of the Petting Zoo. Another fabulously harmless Masrani idea. Kids were able to ride the baby dinosaurs, and watch them play about in their enlarged area. Bubbly seemed better now. He was energetic again, instead of the short-lasted drowsy and quite depressed Brachiosaur he was.
The older of the two nephews, Zach, had looked at Zara. And the look he gave to his younger brother, Gray, insinuated everything. When Zach quietly shouted, ''Scatter!'' I followed. No way was I about to be stuck with the wedding planner. If she wanted to plan a wedding, she should've stayed at the hotel.

It was hot, as it was almost every other day. But today, it felt hotter. It could've been Grady's clothing choice, the way he was working non-stop on the motorcycle or the visit from Hoskins earlier that afternoon.
Continuing to mess around with his motorcycle, and tweaking whatever needed to be tweaked, Grady was able to hear the gravel churning from the driveway leading towards the bungalow. With a heaved sigh, Grady dropped his hand and glanced over his shoulder.
The car had slowed to a stop, and Grady recognized it instantly.
''What do they want now?''
Claire Dearing stepped out of the car. Decked in a pristine white, and accented with a lavender top. At the sight of her, Grady gripped the tool in his hand. What was she doing here? And where was [Y/n]? Didn't Claire need her for a favour?
None of these questions were answered, sadly. Claire hadn't read the expression on the Raptor Trainer's face, and so she continued with her social call. Explaining in little detail about what she came over for, and why.
