A new girl had recently joined their school, and it seemed like she had everyone wrapped around her finger. Blond hair with pig tails and cute and soft feature. Rifuta Imu has transferred to PK high
"Hey, Y/N! Wanna go greet the new 1st-year student? I heard she's really cute!" Kokomi asked as she walked down the hall with her arm hooked around Y/N's.
"Oh sure, why not!" Y/N agreed, and they started heading toward the 1st-year hallways.
"She's been here a while and I haven't really greeted her yet," Kokomi mentioned.
"Oh really? I've never heard about it," Y/N replied.
"Well, I heard she's quite cute and popular."
As they walked, gasps filled the air at the sight of the two "goddesses" who always attracted attention.
"What are our two goddesses doing here?" Murmurs spread throughout the hall. Y/N started to feel a bit self-conscious but reminded herself to be proud of who she was. As they approached, they saw a small crowd forming in front of a classroom door.
"Saiki! What are you doing here-?" Kokomi's eyes landed on the 1st-year student's hands holding Saiki's. She turned to Y/N to confirm if she saw the same thing. Y/N just smiled.
The sound of Kokomi's voice made Saiki jerk his hands back.
"Oh, Saiki, you're here too!"
"What are you doing here?" He noticed Y/N wasn't answering, concluding that she must be wearing the ring. She wasn't; she had just become proficient at not thinking when there were thoughts she didn't want others to hear.
"We came here to greet the new student. I didn't know you were here as well," Kokomi said.
"Teruhashi-san and Y/N-san!" The crowd gasped, seeing the two goddesses standing side by side. The cuteness Rifuta held seemed overwhelmed by the presence of the two girls.
The attention on me is being sucked away by them... What is this overwhelming power? Rifuta thought. I'm sensing a love triangle between them. Maybe if I stir some drama, it will mess them up. Maybe it will show them who truly is the boss here.
"Oh, Saiki-san, weren't you about to show me around the school?" Rifuta clung to Saiki's arm. Despite Y/N feeling annoyed by this gesture, she stayed calm.
"Well, it looks like you're busy. I guess we'll talk another time! Nice meeting you, Rifuta... right?" Y/N beamed.
"Yes, that's my name."
Without letting Kokomi speak, Y/N dragged her away from them and into a small convenience store near the school. They managed to slip away without the teacher noticing, a perk of being considered "god's favorites." They could almost get away with anything, unless it was Matsuzaki, who treated all his students equally.
The two girls rummaged through the store for snacks, but Kokomi noticed Y/N going still, staring at a bag of chips.
"Y/N... are you alright?" she asked.
"Kokomi... I have to tell you something..."
Is this about... It probably is, Kokomi thought.
"Let's just pay for these so we have something to snack on while we talk," Kokomi suggested, pointing to the chairs by a long table near the window, giving them a view of the streets outside.
"Sure," Y/N said, placing the bag of chips back and grabbing a pack of instant noodles instead.
They went to the cashier, paid for their food, and then headed to the seats.
