The months after the cyclone had been so difficult to get through for everyone, especially mischa. talia breaking up with him hit harder than the cyclone but he had gotten close with the choir, they were like family. he was so glad he had all of them especially noel, he was different from the rest of the choir, mischa had always felt different about him, he felt a sort of passion about him he had only ever felt for talia.  it had took him a long time to feel okay with his feelings towards noel but he was so scared. he was scared that he would the loose the choir, the only people who he cared about, the only people who cared about him. he was terrified he would loose noel and he always wanted to say something he just never thought he would.
"я думаю, що я закохана в тебе, поете"
"i think i am in love with you, poet"
he didn't even mean to say it, him and noel were watching some shitty horror movie together one night and every time something scary came up noel would cover his face and mischa would laugh, he couldn't help it. When a jump scare popped up again and he heard a tiny squeal from noel, he smiled.
"я думаю, що я закохана в тебе, поете" 
he mumbled with a grin plastered on his face. he hadn't even realised what he said until noel looked up at him with what mischa thought was confusion
" i was just saying how much of a scaredy cat you are" he answered with a nervous laugh, god he was so stupid noel would never like someone like him.
"hey! it's not my fault you put on the scariest movies" noel joked putting his hands up dramatically. mischa smiled and put his arm around  the back of the sofa behind noel. he  looked back at the tv quietly feeling noel softly lean into the touch a little 
maybe some day things will change between them but until that day mischa will be forever grateful just to have noel in his life.
