⁻ᵗᵃʸˡᵒʳ ˢʷⁱᶠᵗ; ᵐᵃʲᵒʳⁱᵉANOTHER FEW months had passed and after taking a trip or two more into town, the rebellion seemed to be going as anticipated.
However, that didn't stop River from worrying. It was rightfully so seeing as there was still no signs of Finnick or Annie.
That was until River had found out he'd been taken to District 13. The thought that it still existed was beyond her grasp but if he was still alive then so be it.
However, Annie wasn't so fortunate. Rivers heart shattered when she found that the woman had been taken to the Capitol. Who knows what they were doing to her?
River felt they'd torture her for information about the rebellion and maybe even her own location. In all honesty, River hoped the woman would rat her out just so Annie could be free and she could trade her place.
But with no way of knowing anything, River continued to go about her days, praying and hoping everything would be okay.
River had finally turned eighteen in July but it didn't feel like her birthday. Especially without Finnick.
