A crack in the ice

                                    

                                          
The cold air hits my face as I walked across the the thin ice to get to the house Arvo said had food. "We're okay, don't worry." Luke reassured me. Arvo started running when walkers showed up, Kenny ran after him angrily and Mike ran after Kenny. "Kenny don't run!" I exclaimed, worried he'd fall through the ice. "Well at least they made it." Jane said. All of a sudden I hear a crack. My heart beats nervously. I turn around to see Luke standing on that crack. "Don't come over here hey I can make it it's fine" Luke explains. "You sure" Bonnie asks
"Yeah it's fine"
"You got walkers on the way let me help you" 
"It's too thin for both of us I just- I just gotta be-" one of Luke's leg fall in the ice. I start feeling very worried that we'll lose him, I don't want to lose another person. Bonnie tells me I should help him, and I start to walk towards him when all of a sudden I'm falling, and cold water stings my skin. I start to panic as a walker tries to grab me but Luke gets it away from me. Luke isn't too far away from me so I grab his hand. I hear another loud crack but before I can see what or who fell in there's a strong tug on my jacket collar and and I'm in Jane's arms with Luke running behind us. When we get to the house Jane sits me next to Luke and starts a fire with a nail file. "Wait w-where's Bonnie?" Luke asks, shivering. "This is all your fucking fault!" Kenny says while hitting Arvo. "This is place is just a stack of fuckin' toothpicks and he got Bonnie killed!" "Kenny come on, once that ice started to go there wasn't anything we could have done." Mike said. Kenny stormed off outside and Mike tended to Arvo "I can't believe she's gone." Luke told me. "Luke I'm so sorry, I could have done something." I said while warm tears rolled down my cold cheeks. "It ain't your fault Clem. Jane wouldn't even have been able to pull all three of us up. And thanks for saving me, if you hadn't grabbed my hand Jane wouldn't of pulled us both up." Luke said with a smile. "I told you I'd come back for you." I said smiling back at him. there was a moment of silence that was soon broken from loud yelling outside. "Oh no what now."
