A thick sadness hovered over the residents of Green Home as they buried a dear friend, a hero.

The sunlight peeked through the cracks of the ceiling, casting a heavenly-like look on the makeshift graveyard. There was sunlight peeking from the windows, too, but something about the ceiling light made everything look more real, more sad.

Eun-Hyuk stood up as soon as he finished the grave and Mr. An placed a yellow flower next to the wooden makeshift gravestone.

Hae-Rin stood in grief between Hyun-Su and Yi-Kyung, head hung low.

"You died when you should have lived," Mr. An said, looking at the grave, the silence wrapping uncomfortably around his voice. "And I lived when I should have been the one to die."

Hae-Rin heard footsteps in the silence and turned to look on her left.

There, she saw Ji-Su, teary-eyed, leave the makeshift graveyard with slow and painful steps. She looked broken and torn.

Hae-Rin wanted to comfort her, she did.

But in that moment, Hae-Rin had no comfort to give. She didn't know how to give it or what to say. She was grieving herself, and she knew that if she were to go and comfort Ji-Su, she'd just end up making it worse. Ji-Su needed to grieve alone or with someone who'd be able to comfort her, and right now, Hae-Rin wasn't that person.

Before turning to face the grave again, Hae-Rin saw Eun-Yoo follow Ji-Su out.

Slowly, the residents left the room, all saying their goodbye either quietly inside themselves or out loud.

When everyone left, only Hae-Rin and Sang-Wook remained.

"I'll give you a moment." Sang-Wook said.

Hae-Rin nodded numbly.
