minho has been contacting chan ever since he got the feeling that there's something going on with sunghoon. today chan finally has time to go to sunghoon's house, hoping to finally have an answer.
chan knocks on the door and it takes some seconds until sunghoon's mom opens the door, looking not that well. her eyes are full of fire as she recognizes chan so her first instinct is to slam the door shut but chan stops it.
"also hello to you mrs. park, im here to see sunghoon"
"he's not home so please go away." she again tries to close the door but chan is way stronger than her. he can sense and even smell that she's drunk, making chan even more worried.
on the other hand sunghoon finally goes down stairs to grab something to eat. if his mom is at the door then she's distracted enough to not see him. he quickly glances over at the door and sees chan standing at the door.
"please go!!! you have no right to do this!!!"
"please calm down miss, i only want to talk to sunghoon" chan says and sees sunghoon standing at the back of the house. chan smiles softly but before he knows he's being pushed to the ground, he luckily catches himself with his hands.
"mom what the heck!!!" sunghoon screams and gets over to them, wanting to help chan but his mom stops him. sunghoon looks over at her and immediately takes some steps back. "s-sorry..."
"i told you to not leave your room. why are you here?!"
"i-im hungry..."
"you can eat when i give it to you. now go back to your room!" she yells at him and before she knows sunghoon runs back up to his room, trying not to burst out in tears.
"you have absolutely no right to treat your own son like that. where is the love and care? also being drunk in front of your child is not good." chan says and she just scoffs.
"first look at your own family okay? you have no right to stick your nose in our business. minho is gone so there's no right to come here anymore. so please just leave before i'll use my hands again."
"you're making a big mistake. can't believe you're my mother in law." chan says as he gets up, making her speechless. "i can stick my nose in your business any time i want. you won't get rid of me that easily, you'll see." and with that chan leaves her behind. sunghoon looks through his window, seeing chan walk away but luckily chan notices that. he waves sadly and chan shows a small wave too, letting sunghoon know that there's someone who is aware of the situation.
sunghoon's mom slams the door and immediately goes over to sunghoon's room. sunghoon looks at her in shock and before he knows he feels a slap on his face again.
"you just humiliated me. and what the fuck does he mean that i'm his mother in law?!"
"b-because him and m-minho are t-together..."
"for how long?!!!"
"3 y-years..."
"that little piece of shit... so you've been hiding this for me?? that your brother is in a relationship with a man?! that he's gay!!!" she keeps on raising her voice and sunghoon wants to scream for help but nothing will help, the only thing he can do is drop some tears.
"i h-had no right t-to say it... it's their r-relationship... and being g-gay is not bad..."
"and what are you trying to say with that?? hmm? are you gay too?!" she yells and sunghoon slowly nods, making her scoff. sunghoon expects her to slap him again but surprisingly she doesn't do that. "you're such a disappointment."
she turns around and leaves sunghoon's room, locking the door. sunghoon just falls down on his legs and starts crying. for a second he thought he would get sucked out of this reality but yet again he's stuck here.
