"y/n, what the hell??l", was the last message you got from Jake.
Yeah, it wasn't polite to just leave without saying anything but you were so hurt and yes, he had obviously no clue you had a crush on him but come on, you were pretty obvious... at least so you thought but of course he wouldn't get the clues if you weren't even his type.
You sighed and went on your chat with him: "Sorry Jake but I had to leave, I didn't feel so well."
"Oh come on.", was all he said before going back offline.
You just left him on read and went offline as well.
Your door bell rang. "Please not him..."
Slowly you opened your door and saw him. As you sighed, he came closer. "Come on, spill the tea. What's really going on?"
You sat on your couch and as he looked at you, you stared at the floor.
"Will you please tell me the truth?"
"Fine..." You sighed, you hated lying to him, so you were rather honest even if the truth hurt more than anything, "I hate to say this..."
"But?"
"I like you..."
"I like you too, that's what friends do?
"No... not like that... I like you more than just a friend... I always have...", you sighed again and got up, looked at him.
"Oh.", was his first reaction, "Oh... shit..." Jake looked confused yet in a way also disgusted, it hurt so much.
"Uhm... I uh, let's talk about that somewhen else...", was all he said then and made his way out of your place.
"Jake?? What...? But...", you only watched him leave and plopped back onto the couch.
You felt your tears coming and took a deep breath.
How could you even fall for him? I mean, it's impossible not to but why if this was his reaction?
__
You still liked him, even though he really hurt you. You couldn't help it but it really did hurt, especially because he never ever called or texted ever again after that afternoon.
The hate you had towards this made you sigh but you wouldn't let him destroy you completely, you started focusing more on work and his -well yours too- friends and besides that just cared about yourself.
You really realised that Jake never was the ideal boyfriend anyways, maybe someone else could it be someday but never him. Even as a friend he used to prefer his other friends over you, so you always felt like rather a second, third or seventh option rather than the best friend he was when you guys were back in high school.
Things changed, you knew that and now that he apparently didn't want to talk to you again, you just used this opportunity to move on from him and this whole crush you had.
You finally started working out as you always wanted and well, yes, sometimes you'd still catch yourself crying over him but it was all part of the moving on process, you knew that.
It was one of these days when you went working out before work and just concentrated on yourself. With headphones on you slightly whisper-sang the songs and watched yourself work out as you looked through the mirror.
A sudden call caught you off guard. Quickly you took off your headphones and answered. "Hello?"
Heeseung nearly shouted: "Y/n! Hurry! You have to come!"
You held your phone a little further away before you took it closer again and answered: "Shit, did something happen??"
"No questions, just come, quickly!"
