❀❀❀The sky cried aggressive rain drops. It poured down on the glade, the smell of moist bark and grass filled my nostrils.
Chucks anxious body sat beside me, I could fell his leg bounce up and down. The movement seemed to relax him.
"They should be back by now." I heard Thomas voice speak over the loud rain. He tapped his finger along a wooden pillar that he was leaning on. "What happens is they don't make it?" He questioned.
Thomas looked over his shoulder and found Newt leaning his back on another wooden pillar.
"They're gone make it." Newt said without looking away from the door.
"It's Minho and Alby, Thomas. They will make it." I told the brunette. He looked at me for a moment but found himself walking towards Newt.
"What happens is they don't?"
Newt looked away from the doors of the maze and made eye contact with Thomas. "They're gonna make it." He repeated. But it sounded like Newt was trying to convince or manipulate himself into believing the statement that came out of his mouth.
Thomas bit the inside of bottom lip, nervously and walked away from Newt.
My body shook and I shivered. The cold air and wet surrounding didn't mix well with me. The moisture all around added on to the no warmth factor.
"Here." Newt straightened his posture and bent down to pick up something off of a log. Carrying the object he made his way over to Chuck and I.
A blue blanket with dirt stains had been wrapped around Chuck and I. Instantly I noticed the blanket was too small for the both of us. Pulling away from the blanket it fell on Chucks shoulders perfectly.
The curly headed boy looked up at me with a confused expression. I took the ends of the blanket and carefully adjusted it on him.
I flashed a smile. "Don't you look comfortable, Chuckie." I let go of the blue blanket and stood on my two feet.
"What about you?" Chucks eyebrows knitted together. "Aren't ya cold?" He asked me.
"I'm fine. It's just a little chilly." I reassured as best as I could but Chuck still looked at me, worryingly.
I felt a hand on both of my uppers arm. I was startled at first but when they gently rubbed my skin up and down I relaxed, knowing exactly who was touching me. Looking over my shoulder I saw Newt standing behind me.
"There must be another bloody blanket around. I'll find one for ya, green bean."
"No. It's okay-" I turned down his offer. "The rain will clear soon."
"I found a blanket!" Thomas shouted over the rain. Newt dropped his two hands and I felt colder.
Thomas handed the grey blanket in his hand to Newt; who gladly took it.
"Really guys I'm- Ok." The grey blanket covered my upper body and the blonde and brunette smiled at each other proudly. "Thank you." I smiled at the two.

"Nothing bad is going to happen." I reassured Newt. Thomas was talking to Chuck about something and knew Newt wasn't doing okay so I got up to go sit next to him. I sat cross legged while Newts feet touched the dirty floor.
"You don't know that." Newt reminded. His words came harsher than intended to, but I knew he was intentionally being rude. His bad posture and fidgeting gave that away.
"I don't." I stated." But what I do know-" I paused to grab Newts hand. With his hand in mine I continued. "If something bad happens- I will be with you every step of the way."
Newt eyes glanced down towards our interlocked hands, then back up to my eyes. A faint smile appeared on his lips.
"Okay." He whispered.
I watched the rain peacefully pour. The sound of rain hitting the ground relaxed my mind. It calmed everything in sight. Until I saw a figure.
Thomas appeared under the rain and jogged towards the shelter. His brown hair was soaking wet and water dripped down the side of his face.
Immediately I got up and let go of Newts hand. I pulled the blanket off of my shoulders and put the blanket around Thomas. He shivered underneath the blanket.
"Are you crazy? You're going to get yourself killed by hypothermia." Using the back of my hand I touched his forehead and cheek. Both were freezing cold.
"I went to the maze." His voice cracked.
"Inside?" I almost shouted.
"No." He immediately said. "They're still not back."
Thomas looked disappointed."I'm sure they are just exploring. Alby and Minho know the maze like the back of their hands. If they get lost that'd be ironic." I joked, trying to lighten up the mood.
Thomas's worried expression faded into a bright smile. "You always know how to cheer me up."
I sent him a wink. "I wonder who I get it from? Totally not from a teenage boy; who asks a lot of questions on a daily." I nodded my head 'no'.
Following my playful manner Thomas shook his soggy head as well. "Sounds familiar." He sarcastically said.
"I guess we will never know."

Do you think Lilah is going to go with Thomas in to the Maze? Yes or No.
A/N: I thought long and hard about that decision.
Also, I love instrumental music.
