"Mom, Dad." Beth began. "I'm sixteen now. And you always told me not to become a parent when you guys did."

"This better not be your way of telling us you're pregnant." Puck stated.

"I'm not." Beth promised as she looked at Quinn. "But I was thinking... I wanna get my nose fixed."

"Your nose isn't broken." Puck replied.

"I want a nose job." Beth clarified.

"No." Puck shook his head.

"I'm sixteen now, and Mom was, like, thirteen or fourteen when she got hers done." Beth pointed out.

"You're not your mother." Puck noted.

"Noah." Quinn said softly as she took Puck's hand. "Let's hear her out."

"She's not getting a nose job." Puck shook his head. "Maybe it's a rite of passage for Jewish girls, but none of our kids are doing it."

"I don't even have your nose, Dad." Beth stated. "I have Mom's old nose so even if don't get it fixed, it has nothing to do with you or Judaism."

"Why do you want a nose job?" Puck asked.

"Because I don't like my nose." Beth replied. "I don't like how it doesn't match my mom's or my dad's. I don't like it when people say things like 'you would be beautiful if you didn't have that nose,' and I just want a confidence boost, okay?"

"I'm against this." Puck stated. "But I know you and your mother are gonna sneak behind my back and keep it from me until it's too late so I don't know why we're even having this conversation."

"No." Quinn shook her head. "No, this is a big decision so we all need to be on the same page."

"I mean, if you guys don't want me having surgery, I could just make you grandparents instead." Beth said.

"And then you'll be grounded for life." Puck warned Beth.

"You're both hypocrites." Beth replied.

"We want you to do better than we did." Puck told Beth. "No distractions and no stupidity."

"Maybe it's stupid to you, but it's not to me." Beth said, folding her arms. "I've been thinking about this for a while."

Puck looked at Beth.

"You wouldn't get it, Dad." Beth continued. "And I'm asking you to let me do this."

"Plastic surgery isn't gonna magically make you happier or more confident." Puck told Beth as he looked at Quinn.

"It did for Mom." Beth pointed out.

"No, your dad's right." Quinn shook her head. "I lost a lot of weight and changed my entire appearance and at first, I was still unhappy. It was a huge transformation. Not just physically, but mentally, too."

"I can handle it." Beth swore. "I know I can."

"Can you give us a second, B?" Puck requested.

"Fine." Beth said as she left the room.

Quinn looked at Puck. "I'm on your side. I know this is something you're not comfortable with and-"

"I don't want her getting pregnant." Puck cut Quinn off.

"She's not gonna get pregnant, Noah." Quinn replied. "She and I have had those conversations before."

"Okay." Puck nodded slowly.

"I think we should let her do this." Quinn stated softly. "Because I've done it, and I understand why she wants to."

Puck looked at Quinn.

"She wants to look like both of us." Quinn said. "She needs a Fabray piece."

"But your nose isn't even the Fabray nose." Puck began.

"It's not about that." Quinn said. "She doesn't want any piece of my father, she wants a piece of me."

Puck nodded slowly.

"She's a good kid." Quinn reminded Puck.

"She is a good kid." Puck agreed with a sigh. "If it means that much to her, I'll let her do it. But with conditions."

"Of course." Quinn said. "Are you sure about this?"

"Beth!" Puck called, nodding at Quinn.

Beth entered the room and looked at her parents.

"Your mom and I talked some more." Puck said. "And we decided that if you want a nose job, you have to pay for it."

"Can't it, like, come from my college fund?" Beth requested. "Or Mom can pay for it since Gramma paid for hers."

Quinn shook her head. "No, if we're gonna sign off on this, you need to take financial responsibility."

"Mom, that's not fair." Beth complained. "It's a lot of money to me, but it's, like, pocket change to you guys."

"Sorry, B." Puck shrugged. "Better start saving up."

"Fine."
