This is not a very happy chapter. Our couples get into it. I still hope you guys like it 🥰

2 weeks later.

"Petyr Baelish was executed." Serena stopped chewing and looked at her husband, the look on his face was blank as he just stared at her. She put the fork down and continued chewing her food. "I was told that Robb Stark received some letters, which proved that he had conspired with Cersei to have your father arrested and later executed on false charges of treason."

"Yes, Sansa sent me a letter," Serena answered, looking towards the children before looking back at her husband. "She told me what happened."

"Yes, I was surprised when I had to find out from someone else about it, instead of my wife." Even while his face was neutral his voice sounded angry.

"Myrcella." Serena smiled at the younger girl. "Can you please take the children with you? I will come to see you all as soon as your father and I are done speaking."

The children nodded and stood up, following after Myrcella. Serena did not say anything or look at Tywin until the door was closed. She was not sure what he had heard or what people had told him, but she should have talked to him about it before.

"I did not hide it from you, I was not keeping it a secret, Tywin. I told you I was looking into Littlefinger." She did not want to be fighting with him. "I even went with Myrcella to that orphanage to find that girl, you knew what I was doing."

"No, I knew you wanted to find proof so you could get rid of Littlefinger, what I did not know was that you would use my family to do it." He stood up and slammed his hands on the table. "You used my daughter and my grandson."

"I did not use your daughter." She stood up, hating that it had come to this. Cersei had been imprisoned for so many years and she was still causing problems. "Your daughter did horrible things and you knew about them. I did not send those letters to have your daughter executed or accused of treason. She is still fine, she is not on trial, even after everything she has done, she is still in her chambers being treated like a princess."

"She is my daughter! What do you want me to do, kill her?"

"To be honest, I would prefer it, but no, I would never ask that of you." She knew how much Tywin loved his daughter and how devastated he would be if he was forced to kill her, which is why she had never pushed for that to happen, but that did not mean she was not angry. "I know you love your daughter, I do not blame you for it, but I am glad that my father got the justice he deserved."

"YOUR FATHER IS DEAD!" She jumped at the anger in his voice, he had never yelled at her like that before. "What good was it to bring up the past again?"

"Because he deserved justice and do not talk to me about letting things rest, I am perfectly aware of the things you have done to avenge slights against your family." She could not believe that after so many years they were still fighting over this. "Your daughter accused my father of treason for telling the truth, she had him killed because he wanted to do the right thing. Why would I let that go? Why would I allow everyone to believe he lied when it was your daughter who committed treason, who put a bastard on the throne? Even after everyone knows the truth she is still alive and well."

"What did you expect her to do? Your father threatened her children."

"He did not." She moved closer to Tywin. "My father told Cersei in advance what he was going to do, he gave her a warning, which is why she had time to plan and have him executed. He told her to leave and take the children so they would not be hurt and your precious daughter plotted to have him executed instead."
