Everybody in this world have their own problems. Family, friends, school anything can be a problem if you want it to be.
Eden Adair, didn't have a hard life. Just a dead mother, a never present father and a alcohol addiction and drug addiction, seemed inconsequential in the face of everyone else's struggles. But whatever problems she did have was covered up under layers and layers of secret and putting up the perfect image to everyone.
If you pretend you don't have a problem, you will never have a problem.
When her father moves them to a small quiet town named Mystic Falls, Eden is quick to fall in with a wrong kind of crowd. And one night while she was hanging out with the drug crowd she gets attacked by a vampire named Damon Salvatore.
And after a series of unfortunate events, Eden Adair turns into a vampire.
