As dawn started to stream through the curtains, I tiptoed to the kitchen, eager to surprise Kendall with breakfast in bed. I poured a glass of orange juice and carefully spread jam on a slice of toast. With a tray in hand, I quietly entered the room and gently shook Kendall's shoulder. "Hey, rise and shine," I whispered, setting the tray down on the bedside table. Kendall let out a sleepy moan and stretched her arms. "What's all this?" she mumbled, rubbing her eyes. "I made you breakfast," I said with a smile. "Thought you might want to start the day off right." Her eyes widened with surprise as she sat up in bed. "Wow, you're the best," she exclaimed, taking a sip of juice. As she savored the first bite of toast, a contented hum escaped from her lips. "Mmm, this is delicious. Thank you," she said, beaming at me. I couldn't help but laugh at her enthusiastic response. "Anything for my favorite person," I replied, feeling happy to have started our vacation day on such a delightful note.

Kendall and I finished breakfast. "That was perfect, thank you," Kendall said, planting a kiss on my lips. "Thanks," I replied, grinning. "Now, how about a shower together before we hit the road?" Kendall's eyes lit up with a mischievous sparkle. "I thought you'd never ask." After our shared shower, we quickly packed the rest of our stuff. I was zipping around making sure we hadn't forgotten anything "Okay, all set," I said, zipping up my bag. Kendall nodded. "Let's take the bags down to Rover and load her up." We made our way to the car and loaded our bags into the trunk. "Alright, time to go pick up Hailey," I said, starting the engine. Kendall grinned playing some music through the speakers. "Yep, she's on the way to the airport, so it makes sense to swing by." We arrived at Hailey's place and she came out, dragging her suitcase behind her. "Hey guys, thanks for the ride!" "No problem," I said, popping the trunk. Hailey threw her suitcase in the back and hopped into the car. "Let's hit the road!"

On the way to the airport, I phoned Finneas, for some reason I can't disassociate from work and it's only day 1. "Hey, Finneas, just checking in to make sure everything's good at the studio while we're away," I said over the phone, my apprehension evident in my voice. "Chill, mate. I've got this. I've been running my own studio for years, remember?" Finneas reassured me, his voice calm and collected. "I know, I know, but it's just hard for me to let go," I confessed, feeling guilty for doubting my friend's capabilities. "Relax, dude. The studio's in good hands. Go enjoy your trip with Bil," Finneas urged, his tone firm yet understanding. As I hung up the phone, I felt Kendall's hand on my shoulder, offering silent support. "You worry too much, baby. Finneas knows what he's doing," Kendall said, her voice laced with empathy. "I know, I know. It's just hard for me to switch off," I admitted, my anxiety still lingering. Kendall chuckled softly. "I get it, but trust me, everything will be fine. Now, let's head to the airport and have a great time, yeah?" her soothing words urged me to focus on the adventure ahead.

I hummed to the music whilst Kendall and Hailey gossiped about whatever it was. When they gossip I tend to try not to listen especially when they're on Facetime for hours on end. But then one thing occurred to me where's Justin? "How are you and Justin?" I asked the girls then fell silent and I could feel Kendall's eyes burning into my soul. "What?" I asked feeling somehow I've just fucked up. "Have I said something wrong?" Why was no one talking? "No it's okay, we've gone on a break at the moment his music is taking up too much of his time and he couldn't separate us and have time for me and music. So I called for a break it was the best thing for both of us. I thought Kenny would have told you?" She explained hesitantly. "Oh shit sorry, Ken never mentioned it otherwise I wouldn't have brought it up," I said with a sorry tone. "No no it's okay, no one knows other than the girls, you weren't to know." She commented. "Sorry I was supposed to tell you, but you've been so busy all week I didn't have a chance to bring it up" Kendall apologised. "Babe it's okay, you're allowed to keep your girly things to yourself, you don't have to tell me everything," I exclaimed squeezing her thigh. She gave me a small smile. The girls very soon went back to talking and before we knew it we were at the airport.
