Monday came and I was on my way to work with a painful back. I entered the store and placed my stuff in the break room. 
"Good morning Felix."
"Morning Chan."
"I heard the good news from Minho about you baking with him. Congrats to you. I hope you do your best."
"Thank you sir. Oh sorry Chan."
"No problem. You were raised well.", he leaves. 
"If only."
"Hey Felix.", Jisung comes in and pats my back. 
"Ow!"
"Oh my god. Are you ok? It didn't mean to hurt you. I'm so sorry."
"No it's not you. My back just hurts a bit."
"Oh I'm so stupid. Please forgive me."
"Don't worry about it. I'm fine."
"Are you sure? You sound in pain."
"It's nothing trust me."
"If you say so."
I smile to reassure him but he looked as if he didn't believe me. 
"Hey guys.", Jeongin comes in with a smiley face.
"Good morning."
After putting my beret on I went to the front of the store to set up. Soon Jeongin joins me.
"Will you be busy after work?", he asks. 
My appa comes to my mind.
"I am sadly. Sorry."
"No worries. I'll give you my number after work then you text me whenever you're free."
"Deal." We exchange smiles. 
Jeongin's smile is the cutest thing I've ever seen. I see why he's the face of this café. Once it was time to open it was Minho's turn to flip the sign. 
"I really don't know what to say. I guess I hope we have a good day..or something."
"Well at least it's better than what he said last time.", Chan said. We all clapped as he flipped the sign to open.
"Alright guys. Let's do our best!"
"Yes Chan!", we all agreed. 
"Felix are you ready to make some coffee?", Jisung asked.
"Uhm...I'm not sure."
"To practice you can make the simple ones."
"Ok. I'll try."
"I'll be here to help you as well."
"Thank you."
Jisung leaves me to attend the coffee maker so hopefully I know what to do. My back was still pain great pain but I still kept on a smile and nobody knew what was wrong.
The whole time I was working I felt like there were eyes staring at me but I didn't see whose. I just shrugged it off. 
I bowed after handing a customer their drink then sharp pain ran through my back. 
"Enjoy.", I smiled and walked away in pain. 
'Jeez. This is killing me.'
This goes on for the rest of the day then it was time to go home. While in the break room we all gathered our things and I placed my hat in my locker. 
"Oh Felix. Before I forget here's my number.", Jeongin hands me a piece of paper.
"Thanks. I'll make sure to text ya."
"Great. I'll see you tomorrow.", he waves bye and walks out. 
"I'll see you tomorrow too Felix."
"Bye Jisung. Walk home safe."
"You too."
They both leave then Chan comes in. 
"Hey can I talk to you?"
"Sure." We walked into his office. 
"You can have a seat."
I glanced at the chair and feared the pain I'll feel once I bend over. In order to look like there's nothing wrong I slowly sat down while keeping my back straight. 
It sort of worked. 
"So how was today?"
"It was good. I think I did well."
"I know you did. The reason why I wanted to talk to you is because we are concerned."
"About what?"
"Well you. Today your productivity decreased by ten percent and I simply want to know if you're ok."
'Dang. He noticed.'
"Honestly I'm fine. It was a small back ache but I tried not to let it affect me."
"Ok. As your employer I'm not allowed to force you to do anything you don't want to. But if you don't feel comfortable then tell me yeah? I care for all of you guys. You are apart of this family."
"I understand and thank you."
"Now go home and get some rest. I'll see you tomorrow."
"Goodnight."
I head home. I didn't to tell him the truth because he'll probably freak out and I don't really know him that well. 
After my shower I examined my back and noticed it was still red and stinging. I tried to see if the ointment I used for my bruises will help. 
"Ouch."
When finished I laid in bed on my stomach then added Jeongin's number to my phone.

I was waiting for you to say something ☺️

I always found Jeongin to be cute since he was the youngest. He's even more adorable when he uses emojis. It's funny.
