"So should everyone start being an emotional fool like you?". 
The conversation started to heat up. 
Shaurya yelled "I have never seen a girl more selfish than you, what you always think about is yourself, in tenth, you were the one to leave Dhruv because you wanted to focus on your career, than now after 3 years you called him your boyfriend on his birthday, when you have started getting your stipend, and now because he is with someone else you are finding their relationship fishy? You know what, when you congratulated both of them on that mock match I thought you have changed, but I was wrong, that day I thought I was wrong because I didn't feel happy for them, but today when I saw them together, happy!! I really felt good for them, and now after this conversation I feel more amazing that my best friend is not with a selfish girl like you" 
"If you think I am selfish, then you need to learn that from me, because in this world, if you don't think about yourself no one else will. I was not wrong about thinking about my career and about leaving Dhruv hanging, even you did that with Aditi? " Sanya screamed. 
"Aditi was not as understanding as Dhruv"
 "It is impossible to agree and come on a conclusion with you" I said and left.
I went to my room, and called my dad 
"Good morning, princess. How was your match?"
 "Great, dad"
 "You sound upset, you didn't win or what" Dad turned tensed
 "She didn't win the match" I heard mom's voice from behind and she sounded pissed, but then she came to phone and said
 "Darling, what happened? Even if you lost, we are always there with you" I know she said nice things, but she sounded upset
 "Mom, I won the match" I said
 "That's great, love" mom said
 "But why did you sound worried?" Dad asked
 "Nothing Dad, I am just tired that's why you must have felt that way"
 "Okay, princess, take care" Dad said
 "We love you, darling" Mom said hanging up the call. 
My mom is a paediatrician and my dad is a cardiologist. 
My mom wanted me to become a neurosurgeon after completing my graduation, but I wanted to become an immunologist, I always wanted to research new things about human body, instead of just doing surgeries with blood all over the operation theatre, and I may have started earning my stipend as a surgeon but I will become an immunologist and make my mom proud with it. 
My dad was a person who supported me because he knew how hectic it feels to be a surgeon and how important it is for my curious mind to search treatments for neglected diseases instead of being a part of this rat race.
