Chapter 18

                                    

                                          
After observing Tahir for a few days, Shiza noticed how Tahir cares for Sarvi and fulfills all of her wishes, how he act coldly with everyone else but melts infront of her even though he tries to hide it. How he doesn't like it when Sarvi doesn't gives him attention and ignore him for anyone else, how he enjoys her silly antics silently and smiles for her secretly. How he likes her but tries to hide it from her and everyone else.
After thinking about it for sometime Shiza finally decided to talk to Tahir about it. She wanted to help her son and do everything she can inorder to make her son happy. For her Tahir's happiness matters the most. 
Also after knowing that it's Sarvi whom her son loves it made her even more happy, as she always loved Sarvi like a daughter and wanted her to be with Tahir, and now that even her son likes Sarvi, it would easy for her to bring them together as she didn't wanted to force the kid for anything. Even though she would still not force Sarvi for anything, but still there is some hope atleast.
In the evening when Tahir came home from office, Shiza served him dinner and told him that she wanted to talk to him about something. 
After having his dinner, Tahir freshen up and went to his parent's room as his mother wanted to talk to him. He knocked on the door of his parent's room and entered after getting the reply. After entering he sat with them and said " mom you wanted to talk about something." 
" Yes Tahir, we want you to get married now. You are already 28 and soon gonna turn 29. You are not getting any younger and we have waited long enough on you request. " said Shiza.
" But mom..." interrupted Tahir.
" I haven't finished yet. We want you to get married and we have called you here to ask, if you have someone you like or else we can fine a suitable match for you."  completed Shiza leaving a shocked and flabbergasted Tahir.
" Mom I..I.." stuttered Tahir. "What I Tahir ? See if you like someone we have no problem with it. We can meet the girl's parent and discuss about your marriage with them."
" Mom I understand what you are saying but, atleast give me some time to think." said Tahir. 
" Okay, you have 2 days. After 2 days we need your answer and remember Tahir after 2 days I'll not take any of your excuses. " replied Shiza seriously making Tahir sign and nod his head in agreement. 
Then he got up and left after wishing his parents goodnight. After returning to his room he lied down on his bed keeping an arm on his head and signed thinking about what Shiza has asked him. He is already having a hard time dealing with his feelings for Sarvi and now, this additional tension of of marriage. 
After thinking for sometime he decided to sleep.
It's been 2 days since Shiza asked Tahir for his marriage and today is the day when he will be giving his answer. After thinking a lot about everything, he has decided to go with flow and do whatever makes everyone happy. Even though it's not gonna be easy for him but he will make sure to full fill all his duties with utmost sincerity and respect. He will give his best to make the relationship work. Sometimes the best plan is the one that God plans for us. 
Tahir returned home in evening and went to the lawn where Shiza and Ahmed were having their evening tea. After greeting them he sat down and said " I'm ready for marriage and you guys can decide who will be good for me. I don't have any problem with anything." 
Listening to this Shiza squealed and clapped her hands while saying " Then it's decided that you will marry soon. I can't believe you said yes and you are gonna get married. Oh my god I'm so happy. I should bring sweets for you and tell everyone else too. I'm so happy." after completing she immediately left from there making Ahmed chuckle and Tahir scoff. 
" Wow, I can't believe you already have a girl that you want me to get married too." said Tahir shaking his head.
