Logon was leaving the building of the place he worked at . His shift ended a few minutes ago. He was absolutely exhausted but he still had to go home, do homework, and the other twenty things that he needed to finish. That was the only thing on his mind. The walk home he didn't really pay much attention to what he was doing or where he was going he accidentally ignored his friend calling out to him. Sickening is not the word he was looking for but it was close, the rhythm of his footsteps made him almost feel sick. It was repeating, over and over and over again it made him want to cry. When he stepped to his house after what felt like a few seconds of walking he was greeted by an almost silent house.

The light in the living room was off and his parents were asleep on the couch watching some random series. On the dining table were two plates of whatever dinner they were meant to have that night as a family. His brother probably was at a friend's house again and that means his parents will yell at his brother again then the cycle repeats. Again and again and again. Logon loves his brother with all his heart but it's kind of annoying, his brother gets terrible grades and he just doesn't care. Logon was jealous of his brother, Tom didn't understand that if he didnt get good grades he wouldn't get into college. Logon was also mad at his brother, after the long day he just wanted to hear one of his brothers stories. His brother told him stories about magic and knights and about lands far far away.

Unlike life these stories always end with a happily ever after but either case Logon enjoys them a lot. They make him feel safe and his brother is an amazing story teller despite his bad temper. He finished eating and scraped off whatever food was left on his plate into the garbage. He walked to his room and sat down on his floor pulling out his homework. He didn't have a desk yet and he didn't feel like doing it on the kitchen table. He quickly jotted down the answers to the math equations that were on the paper and finished writing the essay that was due yesterday. Finally he laid down in his bed with a sigh of relief, it was late in the night by now and his brother isn't home yet. Logon started to feel worried that something was wrong, he ended up falling asleep as he wanted for his brother. He woke up when he heard the front door open and somebody step inside that somebody was his younger brother. The sounds of footsteps came closer and closer to Logan's room and soon Tom stepped inside, Logon decided to ignore the limp or the grimace of pain whenever Tom moved. Tom walked over to him and sat down on the foot of his bed. They didn't look at each other, neither of them dared to face the other ." What do you want tonight?." Tom asked, staring at the ceiling. Logon thought for a moment, he knew instantly what Tom was talking about; what type of story did he want tonight? " Something about knights." he said in a tired voice and with that Tom started speaking, the words flowed out of him so easily. It was like everything he said was real and that he saw it first hand. It made Logan jealous, his brother was so talented and so free.

" Once upon a time there was a man, his name was Braxton. He was the head knight in a land far far away, one day he was called to war. He was called to the front lines. It would be a miracle if he survived. When the battle started he prayed with all his heart that he would survive this war and see his wife and kids again. He hoped he could hold them in his arms once more. But he know if he died it would be in honer and people will respect and take care of his family. In the battle he lost track of his group and got lost, but this was a lucky thing because when he got lost he found the leader of the other side was fighting his king and winning.." Tom's voice sounded more emotional than usual like this story was close to his heart, like he know this man named braxton

" The leader of the other side was about to land the final strike before Braxton stopped him, Braxton fought this man for hours protecting the king. The leader of the other side was strong, and he was winning. Just when braxton was about to die some other knights found him and helped him take down the leader, but braxton was injured they had to take him to the infirmary. When he got to the infirmary his family was waiting for him and he held each of his family members in his arms. He survived and lived happily ever after ." As Tom finished his story he looked close to tears, Logon didn't know how to comfort Tom or if he even wanted comfort. Before Logan could say anything Tom interrupted him ." good night." he said in a cold voice making it sound like he was hiding whatever he was feeling behind an angry persona. Tom stood up and turned off the lights. He then walked over to his bed that was on the other side of the room, he climbed into the bed with a soft sigh. Logon laid in his bed staring at the ceiling thinking of the story, the emotion that Tom displaye
