Days went by.
Branch made his way back to his bunker, it was tucked away under the greenery of Troll Village. Stepping inside brought back so many memories. This place, reminded him of the lonely days before he joined the Snack Pack and got close to Poppy.
He sat down in a softly lit room, watching the shadows of leaves and vines dance on the walls. Being king felt heavy on his shoulders—a job he never asked for but took on for his people.
Branch let out a deep breath and started to think over recent events. He remembered Creek, the tough times he went through, and the darkness that once filled him. He thought of Poppy, her love, and her dear daughter. And he thought of the trolls in the village, all looking to him as their leader now.
The new king was sure he couldn't let his past hold him back. He needed to fully step into his role and keep his people safe and happy. And through it all, he found comfort knowing he wasn't alone anymore.
Looking around the bunker, he realized how much he had changed. Branch peered into a mirror, his blue eyes locking with the four-legged creature staring back at him. A deep sigh escaped him, feeling the burden of his change and the big duties now on his shoulders.
"I wish I could be a troll again," he whispered, a bit of sadness in his voice. "But I know there's no way to fix this." His large clawed hands reached up to touch the leaves and vines that now adorned his head like a crown
Branch's gaze dropped to his body, now supported by four legs, his long tail moving gently. This new shape had become familiar to him.
"At least everyone accepts me now," he admitted, with a hint of a smile. "Becoming king... it's still hard to believe." The crown's weight, real and symbolic, rested on him, reminding him of his duties.

Branch left his bunker, feeling the cool air outside. He had a promise to keep, one very close to his heart. Looking after Poppy and her new daughter, Heather, was the most important thing for him.
With a determined look in his blue eyes, he set off towards the troll village. His large, clawed feet gently thudded on the forest floor as he made his way, thinking only of getting back to his family.
Getting closer to the village, Branch's heart filled with excitement. Poppy and Heather meant everything to him; they were why he had taken on his role as king so seriously. They gave him strength and the will to keep going.
He was eager to see their smiles, to wrap Heather in his four-legged embrace, and to tell Poppy he was there for them, forever.
Branch headed towards Poppy's pod, his sizable figure moving smoothly through the village. A warm, excited feeling grew in him the closer he got.
Reaching Poppy's pod, Branch spotted the vibrant, familiar shapes of the Snack Pack members waiting. Their happy vibes increased his own excitement. With a gentle smile, Branch said hello to his friends.
"Thanks for being here, guys," Branch said, his voice deep and filled with thanks. With the Snack Pack around him, Branch moved towards Poppy's pod's entrance, his heart brimming with love.
Branch and the Snack Pack stepped into Poppy's pod. There, they saw Poppy, holding a tiny bundle. It was Heather, her daughter.
Seeing Branch and her friends, Poppy's face shone with delight. "Branch!" she said, her voice brimming with joy. "I'm so happy you're here."
The excitement from the Snack Pack was palpable. They crowded around Poppy and the baby, all smiles. Cooper, overwhelmed with joy, exclaimed, "She's so tiny and cute!"
