Serena gives Tywin some news. Jaime discovers something about his sister's plans that he is not ok with. I hope you guys like it. 🥰
Once the maid finished helping her dress she bowed and left the chambers without saying a word. Serena was happy, she had gotten a letter from Robb and found out that her brother Rickon was alive. She had been walking on clouds since hearing the news, and Sansa was very pleased as well. Her sister was happy that their family was safe, but she was not sure she wanted to return to the North, at least not yet. Sansa wanted to spend some more time with Serena.
Things had settled down a bit since Joffrey's death and Cersei was back terrorizing everyone in the city. Jaime had been spending time with Cersei and Tywin would glare at both of them any time he saw them together. Her husband and Jaime had barely spoken since their fight and Serena could not help but feel guilty. She had not wanted to come between Tywin and his son.
Her husband had been spending a lot of time with Tommen, teaching the boy how to rule. Tommen had decided that his grandsire would be the one to run the kingdom until he came of age. Cersei had not been happy about it and had tried to take Tommen away, but Tywin had not allowed it and made it clear that Tommen would be staying under his care.
"Enter," Serena called out when there was a knock on the doors.
"Princess." The maester bowed. That was another thing she was trying to get used to. Since her brother was now king in the north she and her siblings were considered princes and princesses. She was still not used to people calling her princess. The maester approached her. "I have brought you something that will help settle your stomach."
The man handed her a small vial. "Thank you."
"Of course." The maester cleared his throat, looking around nervously. "I have also spoken to one of the kitchen maids, they will bring you tea every morning that should make you feel a bit better. If the..."
The man stopped talking when the doors opened and Tywin walked in. He frowned when she saw the maester standing there and gave her a questioning look. The maester swallowed and bowed, before making a hasty exit. Tywin's eyes followed the man's exit before giving her a questioning look.
"What was he doing here?"
"He just came to bring me something." She showed him the vial, before placing it on the table. "He said the kitchens would be bringing me tea every morning to help settle my stomach."
"I did not know you were ill." Tywin moved closer to her, a concerned frown on his face. "How long has this been happening for?"
"I am not ill." She bit her lip and gave him an unsure look. "I am with child."
Tywin's eyes widened and he looked at her like she was an apparition. Serena just stood there, waiting for him to get used to the news. She had found out about her pregnancy two days prior, but Tywin had worked really late. This was the first time she had seen him during the day in the past two days.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes."
She was thinking about what else she could say when Tywin yanked her to him and took her mouth in a lusty kiss. Serena moaned, one of her hands cupping his face as she returned the kiss. He broke the kiss and smiled at her.
"I am guessing this means you are happy about the news?"
"Yes," He laughed and gave her a quick kiss. "I am the happiest. I cannot wait to see you grow large with my child."
Serena laughed and wrapped her arms around his neck. She had been afraid to tell him about her pregnancy, not wanting to overwhelm him. He had a lot of pressure, the kingdom, the lords, and even their family were all needed something from him at all times. She did not want to add to all the problems he already had. But she was happy that he knew now and that he was happy about it. She could not wait to start a family with him.
