Cole was getting tired of constantly seeing the marks appearing on his body. His soulmate must really love drawing on himself, or he just wants him to know he's there. Its bad enough that his soul mate has an entire tattoo sleeve.

He watched as a beautifully drawn lotus flower on his hand was added the final details. He's only ever written test notes on his body, kind of ashamed to know that his soulmate must think pretty low of him. Today he finally broke though, after thousands of drawings, words, questions, he decided to answer back.

The words started spelling out a question on his left arm. 5 simple words with a very broad target, he answered. He broke out a pen and began writing. Brown. He wrote it right below the question, What Is Your Hair Color? With every word capitalized.

He knew the hunt for his soulmate would never end, and he would probably be dealing with these marks for the rest of his life, only hoping his soulmate would never get any more tattoos, I mean, who wouldnt be already satisfied with a huge arm sleeve.

Another question writes out on his other arm. What Color Are Your Eyes? He found himself not minding answering these broad questions, as he knew they would be hard to narrow down on one person. Cole felt as though he wasnt truly alone in this world, and someone, somewhere was truly trying to know him.

Cole exited the college he attended, walking into the brisk, cold air of winter. The air stung his eyes, froze his fingers, and numbed his cheeks. He wanted to get this walk over with, going back to his dorms as quickly as possible.

Genji had been at the dorm already by the time he got back.

"Hey Cole, how is it outside?" He asked, not looking up from his computer screen.

"You know, still cold as shit." Cole said, shaking off his boots from any outside contaminants and slipping into different shoes at the doorway.

His roommate was an exchange student from Japan, having come to study teaching the English language as a secondary language. Genji wanted to help kids understand the language. He'd hoped to stay in the U.S for his future profession, but he isn't quite sure it'll play out so easily.

Cole flopped down onto his bed and stared at the ceiling. He really did not want to whip out his homework after spending an hour and a half in a class. Luckily, it was his one and only class for today, and he didn't have to leave the door after that.

He rolled over onto his stomach and took his phone out from his back pocket, mindlessly scrolling until out of the corner of his eye he saw writing appear on his arm. Where Are You From? It read. He wasn't sure if he wanted to respond so fast this time.

He gave it a few minutes before grabbing the nearest pen and writing on his arm. America, you? He left it as broad as he could. He didnt want to disclose the specifics of where he was located, and its not like America is small.

He saw more writing appear. Japan. He felt strange. His soulmate was seriously from Japan, just like his roommate. He jumped out of his bed and ran to Genji. Genji hadnt moved and was still at his computer screen. He panickily looked at his arms. There were no marks.

"What? Whats your problem?" Genji asked as Cole stared at him.

"My soulmate wrote that he was from Japan too and I panicked. Sorry." Cole said, feeling a bit ashamed now at his reaction.

Genji laughed at this.

"And you thought it was me? Man, this is driving you crazy huh?" Genji chuckled under his sentence.

Cole rubbed off his comment and scoffed at him instead. He knew t couldnt be Genji he had never seen the man write on himself before, and probably the most obvious being the absence of the large tattoo.
