Hanzo woke up to his alarm blaring in his ears. His eyes were reluctant to adjust to the setting of his bright room. His ear ringing with the buzzing noise of his clock. He moved his tired and beaten arm over to smack the clock to make it shut up. He rubbed his eyes while yawning. Here goes another fucking day, he thought to himself.

Hanzo had fallen deeply in love with one of his fellow co-workers after agreeing to Genji to finally join arms with Overwatch. Genji had never been happier, as Hanzo could only assume from his giddiness on the day he arrived with him at the watchpoint, nothing but a small carry on luggage and his weapon.

Hanzo had fallen for a man formerly known as Jesse Mcree, now embracing his true name of Cole Cassidy, after prying it from his drunken ass on the rooftop one night. They had grown relatively close, after longs nights on the rooftop drinking together and drowning in each others sorrows.

Hanzo wasn't sure when his feelings became a thing, but he knew they were there. Unsure of when it happened, but he started noticing all the flaws within the taller man, his slightly crooked front bottom tooth, his smile lines on his face, the slight greys coming in on his head, his calloused fingers. God, he fell hard.

Hanzo sat up in bed, stretching to finally begin his day. He got up and went to his shower, taking a long hot shower, mostly drenched in his thoughts but for a small amount of time soap as well. He got out and wrapped himself and his long hair in towels, walking out to pick a relaxed outfit. He settled on a navy blue shirt and some grey sweatpants.

He didn't care how he presented himself now, as he had grown quite uncomfortably comfortable at the watchpoint now. He brushed his hair and teeth then left him room heading towards the kitchen to start up a cup of black coffee.

What he did not expect was to see Cole sitting at the long intimidating table, alone, with his own cup of simmering coffee, scrolling on his phone at meaningless posts and videos. He looked up as he saw Hanzo move towards the kitchen counter, trying his best to sort of ignore the others presence.

"Morning Hanzo. Howd ya sleep?" Cole asked, raising his mug to his lips.

Hanzo grabbed his own mug before placing it beneath the machine and pressing start to make his coffee.

"Not good, not bad." He replied, head starting to pound from their drinking session last night.

He quietly groaned then walked over to the medicine cabinet that Angela kept in all rooms. He grabbed a bottle of Ibuprofen before shaking out 2 of the glorious white pills.

He put the bottle back and shut the cabinet door before returning to watch his coffee drip into the cup. The machine came to an abrupt stop, making a strange noise as the water settled, and he grabbed the cup of hot contents and walked to the table Cole was sitting at.

He sat down close but not too far from the man, popping the pills in his mouth and downing them with a gulp of coffee. He rubbed his eyes again as they were still angry with him for being open at this hour while suffering a hangover.

"Seems like that alcohol got to ya." Cole said, without even looking up.

Hanzo looked up from his cup of coffee.

"Its your fault for letting me drink the shit you drink. Im not used to it like I am with my own drinks." Hanzo said, putting all the blame on his counterpart.

Cole let out a slight chuckle.

"Right.." Cole finished.

Hanzo shut his eyes as they sat in silence for a while. The sound of a chair scuffing across the strangely cemented floor caused Hanzos eyes to fly open, but it was just Cole standing up with his empty mug. He subtly watched as Cole walked over to the sink, setting down the mug without much noise and leaving the room to go to the living area.
