Rhiannon's POV
I woke up with Everett yelling on the phone. He's so damn loud. I come stomping down the stairs, I put my hands in the air at him. He made an apologetic face, then it changed back to angry
 "I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU THINK, SHOVE YOUR OPINION UP YOUR ASS!!!!" He yelled and hung up the phone. "I hate Nolen, he's such an asshole. I can't believe I shared my company with him" 
He said with his fists balled. I come over and rub his shoulders. "Well you share it because he's your brother and it's what your maker asked of you" I responded. 
Nolan was his brother in vampire sense, they had the same maker. They weren't actually brothers. He also has a sister named Sienna. I haven't met them yet, he says I will soon. Sienna was the older one, she was 1,127 years old, Nolan was 700 while Everett would 1,000 in a month. 
He was the middle child. Apparently they had a "mom". His maker had a mate. Her name was Juniper and his maker's name was Orion. 
They were the perfect vampire couple. Everett said Orion would be 3,000 years old next year and Juniper at 2,000. "I have a question for you Everett," I said. "Yes my dear?" He responded. "Where do vampires come from?" I asked. He burst out laughing hysterically.
 "You just sounded like a child asking 'where do babies come?'" He continued laughing while I stood there with my arms crossed. 
He noticed that and knew that I was serious. " Honestly darling I don't know, maybe Bassel will" He said when his phone went off. "Got a text from Damon they are leaving now" He said. I was a little nervous, yet excited to meet his girlfriend Anneliese. 
"Let's head to Bassels now and be back by 2 so we can get a good day's rest" He said. We decided to fly to his house together. I'm glad I'm not pregnant yet, there's a ritual we will need to do in order to become pregnant. So it won't happen surprisingly. 
I wonder if Damon and Anneliese know that they can do this. You'll need a fairy and a witch present though. The witch puts a protective spell over the fairy first so she won't be endangered by the vampire. It's a whole process, very thorough. We arrived at Bassels home. It looked like a Californian style home, with wood plank siding and stone. 
It was woodsy and beautiful. We stepped into his home and it was just as amazing inside with a stone fireplace and hardwood floors. "Everett! Rhiannon! How good to see you!" Bassel exclaimed. Always so happy to see us. "What are you looking for today?" Bassel asked. "Well, I was wondering where do vampires come from?" I asked. 
He had the same reaction my husband did. "Ahh my child let me look in the big book of vampire recordings" He motioned us to follow him. Everett wasn't lying when he said this book was huge. "Let me see, let me see…..hmmm" Bassel said with a little concern in his voice. "I don't see its name here. It says 'The First Makers prodigy, made when he/she was 300 years old, so that was about 300 B.C. The first prodigy was male named Orme, the second female names Moira. 
They both made 50 vampires a piece making 100 vampires all together. One of Rome's prodigy's was your maker Orion. Then Moira's 45th prodigy being Juniper. Orion and Juniper meet in the time Christ walked the earth. The First Makes name, gender and first appearance is unknown. The only appearance that was recorded was Orme. 
He wrote a book of rules, our vampire Bible, for us to follow and that's it. Orme had written in this passage 'I never saw my maker, I was human one night, then a ratchet creature called vampire the next' so he was left to learn by himself, the book constructed us to keep rising vampires, as God constructed his humans to procreate" Bassel completed.
 "Woah- that's insane. So there's more to this than I thought….what about wolves?" I said. "So I'm third generation from The First Maker?" Everett asked. "Yes you are and as for wolves and all the creatures, who knows. Some may have recorded it, some may have not. Fairy's have kept everything recorded, Elvs not so much" Bassel said. I saw Everett sit down taking in all the information. It was clearly a lot, I know it would be for me too. There's hundreds of generations, but somehow we're all linked back to the first one. We all are, no matter who we are. "Well obviously the Sun Goddess and Moon Goddess created these creatures and put them here. The shifting ones were out into male and female pairs like Adam and Eve. 
Everything had a first of its kind. That's what our wolf history teaches us. It does get conflicting when some of us choose to be Christian. Some believe God alone created everything, including all these supernatural creatures. Except for witches, warlocks, the ones who produce magic.
 They have demon blood in their veins." I said. Bassel and Everett looked at me stunned. "But there's no recorded mate for The First Maker" Bassel said. "But vampires don't need a male and female to create another being. They create ones just on their own. Who knows maybe the Goddess of Death put a curse on him." I said I was feeling really smart right about now.
 "You do have a point, " Rhi '' Everett finally said. "Are you okay?" I asked him. "Yes, but I think we should be getting home, we have that dinner tomorrow night" Everett said. We thanked Bassel for his help and left to go back home. We might have a new adventure coming our way, I'm wondering if Damon and Anneliese will be helping us now.
